I wish I could give these a 4.5! They would be a 5+ with just a little strip of fabric around the inside of the ankle opening. (You can feel the seams as you walk.) However, don’t let that stop you. These puppies are comfy straight out of the box! This company has nailed the size and my problem feet were singing the Hallelujah Chorus hours into the first day of wear. My BFF thought they were a pricy brand, but my wallet was as happy as my feet.

Quality boots, for most occasions, with a great look.
These Chelsea black faux leather boots arrive in very nice packaging, presented in a nice box, with the boots wrapped in a light tissue and the memory foam inserts separately packaged.They are true to size, perhaps a touch large (a good thing) and the companion chart in the ad seems accurate in my case. The maker wants these to fit well and buy accordingly.These great looking boots are a low to mid-cut on the ankles, which is not mentioned but shown. With an elastic collar integration that makes them very easy to slip-on and remove, unlike most boots where you must fight to slip your feet in or out, almost combat.The rounded toe is such a classic look, along with the black color and simple, sleek look. Neither too bulbous nor too thin. Heavy duty sole stitching and all-weather rubber soles. The soles are thick, almost generationally thick, and look great on sidewalks, but perform even better on most surfaces, like rainy days and snow, or just on a wooded rocky trail. The sole pattern looks like it is designed for high performance, like it will hold a grip and shed any debris while firmly tracking and gripping.The native inside padding is comfortable, but when the memory foam cushions are added (the same material used in pillows and mattresses) these almost feel like welcome and familiar sneakers, not at all like hard and stiff boots. These are relaxed against the skin.The look is modern, or retro, and wildly versatile for coordinating with most outfits. Casual street wear, dresses for casual dining, or rugged outerwear for sporting activities. In London, or Los Angeles, these are perfect on the contemporary or chic or rustic and rugged woman.On the upper mid end of the price spectrum in this styling, but these are hard to find in a flat sole, and they should last a lifetime with excellent engineering and design, while you will go out of style before they do!

My new favorite slip on boot for the fall and winter!!!
Just opening the box, I was already thinking pretty highly of these boots and the seller. Each boot was in it's own protective sleeve (like my purses do when they arrive), and there were 2 additional pairs of insoles for my boots. The boots already have a pair inside, so it is great to have extras to change . It also made me think they designed these boots to outlast the insoles, which is great as well. Immediately, I liked the feel of the outside of these boots. They aren't leather, but they are a quality mock leather, and are the perfect brown color. The opening for my foot is wide and not difficult to slide my foot into the boot at all, even with an ankle reconstruction several years ago (it doesn't bend the way my healthy ankle does, so tighter boots can be a problem). The rounded box toe left plenty of room for my feet to comfortably breathe and not be cramped. The width of these boots was very comfortable and did not pinch my insole or the outside of my foot when I walked or stood.I ordered an 11 since I am a shade more than a 10 in some boots. If they had a 10.5, that would have been perfect. As it is, wearing socks with these boots won't be a problem at all, and I will likely wear them to work (at a high school) this fall and winter, especially when it's wet or a little snowy outside. The soles of these boots appeared to have good grip, and were more rubberized than plastic so they didn't slip or cause me to lose my balance out from under me. I really liked these boots a lot, and they were way less expensive than so many other Chelsea boots I've seen around. Not only are these affordable, but they look like they are more expensive than they are and are pretty comfortable to wear all day.
