Made in Sweden, comfortable and looks good.
I was new to the Verka brand, until I found it on Amazon website. I am a connoisseur of clogs (by my definition,) as I have been an owner of many, which I started buying many years ago, when many of the brands were still making their clogs in Sweden.Once I was assured that this item was actually made in Sweden (as many are no longer made in Sweden, and hence very low quality, not worthy of buying and uncomfortable to wear ) I was happy to have found this brand and ordered one initially, liked it so much, I added one more.The patent leather is amazingly hardy, I have tendency to cuff shoes on my left foot, and this item is amazing in that you can just remove the cuff marks with wet cloth. item fits just like my old clogs which were legit and made in Sweden. The price is fair, as I feel they could have asked for more, since the item is legit made in legit country by legitimate experts, unlike the items made by workers in questionable countries, who are hired for being cheap, more than their being knowledgeable about making the product.)The Verka clogs, I feel are the true original style of clogs. They look good, are comfortable, the leather form fits around the foot (the problem, I noticed with the other cheaply manufactured and not made in Sweden clogs is, that the leather at the top literally is constricting to top of the foot, that it ends up causing sever pain.) Moreover even though it is a wooden clog, it is not nosy or clunky. Moreover, the shoes get complements from men and women.

Beautiful Craftsmanship!
These are SO beautiful right out of the box! Absolute perfect colour and textures! The soles feel very solid and there's a nice anti-slip grip on the soles. I'm a little hesitant to wear them where the ground may be wet because the wood doesn't look like it's sealed or treated with anything. The bottoms in particular have a rough wood surface that didn't look sanded, if that makes sense. I was planning on wearing them with socks but when I placed my feet in, my wool socks caught up a bit on the material. That being said though, the inside material of the clog is so nice that I think they'd be better without socks. I've never worn wood clogs without socks so not sure about blistering, sweating, or if slivers would ever be a problem. My heel hung off a tiny bit but because I was wearing socks. Without socks they fit perfectly. Not sure if because they are leather they may stretch a little. Very excited to break them in! Beautifully created and crafted!

I love the beautiful range of assorted colors they come in! I purchased the glossy, blush pink, cherry and the bold gold. They were too small
Although they were very beautiful and nicely made they did not fit so they were returned. The opening of the shoe where the foot slides in was too small for my daughter's foot.
