Was skeptical, but these shoes are FANTASTIC!
My wife and I are ballroom dancers (competitive previously, and now just social dancers). I needed new ballroom dance shoes with a 1" heel for smooth/standard dances. Unfortunately, my local dance supply store where we previously purchased most of our dance gear closed a few years ago, so we had to turn to other sellers. I noticed that some other dancers were wearing "Very Fine" dance shoes, so I figured I'd give them a try (I usually purchase European brands such as Freed, Bloch, Supadance). The Very Fine shoes are packaged very nicely and come with a nylon shoe bag with a drawstring. The build quality of the shoe seems very nice (with relatively thick shoe laces pre-laced). Nice quality suede on the bottom. I tried on the shoes at home to confirm sizing, but actually used the shoes for the first time last night at a social dance, and wow.... they feel amazing. Great arch support with excellent cushioning. Usually after an hour of dancing, my heels start hurting from the pressure of heel/toe rolls... but last night, no such pain!! A fellow dancer noticed my new shoes and said "wow, those look great". Overall, I am extremely happy with my shoe purchase and would highly recommend trying these out if you're looking for new dance shoes. One bit of advice... as with most dance shoes, you'll need to size up your purchase from your regular shoe size. I usually wear a street shoe size of either 8.5 or 9.0.... but I found the 9.5 Very Fine dance shoes to be the right fit for me. Happy Dancing!

Cute, but runs small.
Smaller and stiffer than the first pair we bought. Ended up giving them to our son because they wouldn't fit my husband.

Too wide
Size too wide, therefore comfort is a moot point.Shoe is a attractive, however it is not a good fit for me.

More comfortable than the last brand I wore.
Needed a new pair of shoes, before going to a dance weekend. Normally buy Capezio BR116 in a 9.5 - but Amazon was out of stock, so bought the same size in these. These wound up fitting quite a bit looser- maybe not a bad thing-? The insole also seems to be much more "cushiony". I thought at first that might be a bad thing as at first I seemed to have less "feel" for the floor, but I soon got used to it. And my feet felt much less worn out than with the Capezio shoes. When I first got them, I thought I'd buy another pair of Capezio shoes when I got the chance- now I"m not so sure.

Just bite the bullet and pay the price for Supadance shoes
Enough said in my headline. I have been ballroom dancing for 30 years and the most important thing is the quality of the show you have between your feet and the floor. This is why so many pros use Supadance shoes.
