My dress dance shoes are thin and tight. Practice got uncomfortable. Do lots of fast Latin. These were a great compromise and feel like a hybrid tennis shoe/dress shoe. Good price. There was also room for my orthotics to replace admittedly flimsy ones that came with them. Slides and spins easily but secure footing otherwise. And btw I’m a male so definitely not just for women.
I ordered both these Very Fine dance sneakers and Capezio dance sneakers. I cannot tell the difference! The material, design, and sole are identical. So I suggest ordering whichever one is cheaper and available in your size at the time you are ordering. I think they fit fairly true to size. I can wear a thin sock with the shoes.
I have zero complaints about these shoes. I have flat feet and they’re actually very comfortable to teach (dance) in.
