Very Fine Phoenix Unisex Exercise Shoes
Points to remember: These shoes are excellent for exercise. Comfortable and durable. SIZES RUN LARGE. To not make a mistake in ordering the correct size, read my journey in getting the size that fits me. I am a line dance teacher, have a couple of these as you could see, I ordered the red and 2 of the white more than 2 years ago in size 7.5. Fits just right. Wanted a black one, ordered a black within this year of same size 7.5. Set it aside. Did not try, because it’s just a reordered. Thinking it will fit as the others. When I finally wore it. Someone commented that my shoes are too loose. When I look at my foot, sure enough a full size too large. Just this week ordered a size 6.5 and a size 7.0 just to make sure. The size 7.0 still 1/2 larger. The size 6.5 is just right. From size 7.5 from 2+years to this year sizes, for sure there’s a change. Remember, this shoe runs large. Once you gets it, you are going to loved it! As I loves mine. ❤️

Not Real Dance Shoes
These are not true dance shoes. They are cheap Chinese knockoffs. The soles and heels are much thinner than they should be for dance shoes and they are "sticky," impeding turns rather than facilitating them. Dance shoes should help you spin around on the dance floor.

Soles are not slick enough when dancing
The shoes are very comfortable, however the sole is not slick enough when turning and twisting while dancing which is what I thought dancing shoes were for. I am very disappointed.

Mixed feelings…
I love these for their lightness, and flexibility. Not so much on ability to turn smoothly. Also, these shoes are not gray like the photo! They are completely black, both the fabric and the faux suede. They work well for line dancing but a little problematic for turns - I didn’t want too slippery since I’m a senior and can’t risk falling, but… sticking makes for instability too, so it’s a trade off.

Soles are poor for dancing.
The soles are more of a rubber than TPU and do not provide any slip so turning is very difficult, therefore they are not good as a dance shoe, not what I would expect from Very Fine shoes which are generally excellent. However, these shoes are comfortable and lightweight. Also, they do not look like the picture, they are more black and black than black and grey. I emailed Very Fine through the Amazon review site but never received a reply.

Comfort is key
I was reluctant to buy dance sneakers other more expensive brands did not fit well. I am pleasantly surprised by quality and comfort. I wear them weekly for class and when on vacation to dance.
