I love these shoes, they are super comfortable and light.the shoes fit so well for my wide feet!the toes are a little big but i have weird feetthe velcro strap across the top is a secured bonus! if the laces come untied i have the strap to help keep the shoes from slippingbut if they weren't tied they would stay on because they fit so wellthe soles are wonderful!!when going walking in the woods the soles grip so well helping me not to fallthe shoes are great and wouldn't pick another brandMy husband even bought a pair!!!

Wow, Vibrams are amazing!

I bought these on a recommendation from my trainer at the gym. I have cerebral palsy, no real balance, and my left heel never touches the ground--I've been like this most of my life, and my old gym shoes were literally flopping off my left foot while trying to train. Well, not anymore!I had some trepidation, as my husband once owned his own pair of Vibrams years ago, and complained of how painful they could be, but I went into this open-minded, and this pair (my first pair) has been nothing short of amazing. They are extremely comfortable, they stay on my feet, and best of all, my balance and my gait are gradually improving! Thanks again, Vibram!

Not Perfect, But I Like Them

I got these as a backup to my original Vibrams, the Vibram Women's KSO Evo Cross Training Shoe, Black,40 EU/9 M US, which I love. I wear an 8.5 wide and got both this and my other Vibrams in a 40. These ones fit a bit looser than my others. I think I could have gotten a 39 and been okay. I had Fila Skeletoes for years and really liked those, but it appears they discontinued them. I decided to upgrade to Vibram. What I like about these, especially compared to my others, is I hike a ton and I like wearing these when I hike because I notice I don't get leg pain like I do in regular shoes. What I like about these compared to my KSO Cross Trainers are they have a much thicker sole and a little more padding around the toes, which is awesome for hiking in rocky areas (I wore the others while hiking 6 days in the Rockies and my feet were pretty sore at the end of the week, after ~50 miles of hiking). It doesn't hurt quite so bad if I stub my toe in these. What I don't like about these is the velcro placement. I'd read complaints in the reviews of these and thought maybe people had let stuff get stuck in the velcro, but the problem is the velcro is so far down on the side that unless you have a super skinny foot, the strap barely reaches the velcro. It would make more sense if the velcro was on the strap across the top of the foot. I was going to send these back because of that, but missed my return window, so I'm going to just sew my own velcro on it. In the meantime, I solved this for a hike in Arkansas by securing the straps with a bobby pin & tucking it under the laces. That did the trick!I typically wear my toe shoes without socks, but that sometimes leads to blisters, especially if my feet get wet, so I got these socks: Zmart 6 Pack Women Girls Fun Colorful Cats Cotton Ankle Funny Toe Socks They're a little silly and I wish I could find women's socks that are just all the same color, but these worked great for my hike in Des Moines.Others mentioned the shoes are pretty rigid. I'd agree they're much more rigid than my other Vibrams, but they're also sturdier. There's much more padding so it's kind of a trade-off. I just tie them a little looser and don't have a problem. The rigidity doesn't hurt my feet as long as I give them some room to move. All this being said, I think these are fine shoes, just a little big and the velcro issue. I'd recommend them to trail hikers who want a little more protection from rocks.

These shoes are garbage! The Velcro strap doesn't close enough to reach unless you have tiny inhuman ankles and the plastic on the inside of the foot rubs uncomfortably. I ran in these for 17 minutes and couldn't take it anymore, checked my feet and had massive blisters. Very painful, very uncomfortable. These are my 5th pair of vibrams and I'm super disappointed!

Perfect Fit for me, love them!

They fit just perfect, I have small but wide feet and they fit perfect. Just the only thing I got a blister in my left foot right above my big toe, this happened due to my sciatica problem, because of the pain I walked little funny causing the blister. The second wear I didn't have the pain and so they felt really comfortable

Pros and cons

I absolutely love vibrams and have had numerous pairs. My experience with vibram not every shoe design fits like the next even if it says it's the right size. Ordering this shoe I had a hard time. I wear a 37 EU, but when I placed multiple orders for that size I kept ending up with 38. I think they don't have the sizing for this shoe right in their picking system, because I tried ordering the next size down hoping to get the 37 and I got the 36. I called Amazon and that wasn't helpful try to get the 37. Anyway so I ended up keeping the 38. The only difference for me in the 38 is the toes are a little long. Not that big of a deal for me.Now about the shoe. I love the thicker tread on this shoe. Will be great for hiking and rocky terrain. Has great grip. Love the design and color. One thing I really don't like is the velcro band. For me it doesn't reach very far to the side to stick. So it won't stay down. I will be cutting this off or finding a solution. Overall I'm happy with my buy. Can't beat my favorite shoe brand at $30.

Great for my foot

I have Morton's Neuroma and these have helped my foot a great deal. I would recommend these. A little tight to get on but after that they are fine.
