Nice shoes
They seem to run big (long). I ordered a size smaller and they fit well.

They seem to run big (long). I ordered a size smaller and they fit well.
This is my fifth pair of this model of shoe. I clearly love them, and I've run many thousands of km in them. Unfortunately, something has happened in the manufacturing process in the last iterations, so that now I've received a pair in which the left and right shoes are not symmetrical. There is a very large raised seam directly underneath the instep of my right foot in the case of my pair. It is so big that it is not possible to run in the shoes without getting blisters. I would return them, but I purchased them ahead of time, and there is no way to evoke the return. Vibram needs to maintain basic quality control.
Some toes fit others did not.
I've been running in Vibrams for 7 years now. Whilst this shoe is not for everyone and many of the claims made about it are not entirely true, it works for me. I had tons of issues with regular shoes due to my very high bridges and low ankle mobility. It takes a long time and conserted effort to get used to this style of shoe, but if you stick it out it's well worth it. This particular pair I use for squash. I have other pairs for road running and trail running.
I'm transitioning to minimalist running and really wanted to like these but ultimate I have to send them back. When I put them on it just felt really unusual and uncomfortable. It's like like I had some weird apparatus on my feet. I just could not get used to it. I gave it a shot but I had to send it back. Now I know why these things are not really popular anymore. You rarely see people waking or running in them.
It took me a couple returns to find the size that fit. They run an inch and quarter too big. So I got a 12 and it was nowhere near my toes. Had an 11 sent and it fit. You need to get used to them while walking first. You'll find that you get stronger if you're going on longer runs in regular running shoes.
Very very pleased to convert to five fingers. Barefoot walking and running is like a hidden treasure right at your feet, if you're willing to discover it. This V-Run is perfect first pair to break into the barefoot world. Buy with confidence
