I'm not the type of person to leave reviews, mainly because the product hasn't impressed me to the fact that I would need to write one. A little backstory of my feet. I had a pair of Vibram's a few years ago. They were great, but I had stopped wearing them for a while. I got sick for about a year(cancer) and as I was healthy I picked up running again. Mind you, I was using "running shoes." After that, I developed a pain in my heel after each run. It increased. This must of happened for about a few months. I stretched and tried to do rehab exercises. I read about different people suffering plantar fasciitis and how barefoot shoes rid them of the pain. I bought these pair and I feel like I can push better off the ground. Long story short, I no longer suffer from plantar fasciitis. I aim to keep buying Vibrams, no matter the looks I get.
So I actually bought 2 pairs of these. First I got a 9-9.5. And they were just a tad too long so when I ran my toes were not fully into the slots. There was about a finger width of room between my heel and the back of the shoe when my toes were fully forward. So I got an 8-8.5 and they are the perfect length, but they're too tight across the top of my foot to be truly comfortable. I still run in the shorter ones, but I can't where them for long enough to run long distances (3+miles). I kept the long pair for walking in. I really like the improved stability I'm experiencing with them compared to my Brooks Ghost shoes. They're a great shoe for crossfit style workouts, mobility and balance training, stretch routines including yoga. Would recommend, I just hope your feet aren't as oddly shaped as mine 😅.
Well made, attractive, makes my feet feel so loved and cuddled.
They've held up well on my little path the last month or so. I've washed them per the instructions and they still look great. Originally bought what the size meant for people that wear size13 shoes but they were way too big. The 12.5 equivalent size is still slightly long in the toe, but I don't move around and haven't tripped. Obviously there's not any support, but that's kind of the point.
My first vibrams. Wore them on the treadmill and they make me want to run more. Virtually no break in period with these. Other vibrams, yes. These fit wonderfully right out of the box. I wear mine with socks. Love these shoes.
Love them
