Lightweight + Uncomfortable

Boots are light which is probably the biggest selling point to this boot- but that is really the only thing going for these.Side zip is useless. There’s no way you’re going to “easily” get these on or off utilizing the zipper. The zipper also gets hung up on the upper which is frustrating.Footbed feels decent upon first impressions, firm but not a whole lot of support or impact absorption. After walking around my house for 2 minutes I can already see the foam mid sole stress so I doubt the longevity of this mid in a harsh work environment. The boot runs narrow so people with wider feet beware.The heal is also unreasonably snug. This is partly the reason as to why they’re so hard to get off/on. Not a whole lot of lining for heal slip so maybe thats why these fit so tightly in the heal? Not sure but it is a strange fitment issue that is surely going to cause hotspots on the heal of the wearer.Cant speak to the actual performance of this boot since Im not going to give them the chance for a “break in” period because of how uncomfortable they are right out the box.Really wanted to like these, idk maybe I’ll give the Johny Combats a try since it seams like those are the Viktos flagship and people have a better experience with them.If you’re looking for a quick side zip boot thats going to be comfortable out the box I would look elsewhere.

Worst duty shoe I’ve purchased.

I am very disappointed with these shoes. After only a few months of wearing them, both side zippers have failed. Cheap shoes, that won’t last. Ive had to go back to my old duty boots until I can find a replacement. I’ll most likely go back to my old shoe brand.Also want to add that I am no longer on patrol and my environment is more office and indoor settings and they still failed. I would not recommend these shoes and definitely would not recommend if you are on patrol in the elements.

Would not recommend

The fit of these shoes were great, and they were surprisingly comfortable. The issues were in the quality. I can tell the materials used were of good quality, however the assembly or craftsmanship is off. When the boots arrived there was already a rough looking vamp break, I assumed that although the crease was not it the product photos, it was intentional. Less than 2 months after receiving the boots, with probably less than 14 shifts of use, the outsole on the heel of one of the boots are coming off. Unfortunately this happened not long after the return window closed. If you can’t afford to replace these often, I’d invest in another pair.

front of right shoe wasnt glued together. It says toe box is wide but not wide enough. Need to offer a wide option. I ordered 10.5, i need 10.5 wide. 11 will be too big
