These are the best boots I've invested in in the last thirty years; it was money well spent. Almost from day one they were extremely comfortable right out of the box. They have a wide toe box that offers plenty of wiggle room for the little piggies. They fit well and, at least in my opinion, are pretty stylish, as well. I did, however, add some heavy duty insoles due to my inclination towards suffering periodic bouts of plantar fasciitis. All in all, I'd say these are a 9.5 out of 10. Color me happy.

Good quality boot
I had the earlier version of the 1911 boot. I loved the boots. The new boots are good as well. The sole is a bit thicker and it took a bit longer to break in the boot but otherwise no complaints. The boot is well made. I do private security work so I'm on my feet a lot. Great boot if your on your feet a lot.

I walk to and from work, sidewalk mostly. Great start but hurts later in the day...need wide? Or Vibram sole too dense? Or just that I "ruck" like a loaded mule and pack 320lbs fat. I like the build,the fit and breathability, so maybe work for those 60lbs less heavy.

Comfy after break in period
It's a nice boot, very stiff during break in. The fit was perfect and the toe box is slightly wider than conventional boots. All in all I would buy again.
