Very very good shoes! Even they are slippers I wear them in place of nice shoes at work and they look nice! Very comfortable. Size 8,5 fits perfectly. Very warm even in cold winter here in California
These slippers are nice and warm. Definitely for colder weather. They have the good arch support you expect from Vionic. I over pronate, have bad knees and arthritis. Yet, I can wear these all day without issue. They are a bit stiff when you first get them, but they soften up after a few days. The bottoms are sturdy so you can walk outside with them. I got the red plaid ones that were on sale. The teenager down the block said they were really cute and as a retiree, that is the ultimate compliment. I didn’t buy them for the look, but I really hate wearing anything that looks like old lady shoes, even just around the house.Over the last 2 years, I started ordering my Vionic sneakers in a size 7, as the 6 1/2 was feeling a little short, even without socks. But these were way too big in the 7 so I exchanged. The 6 1/2 M are comfortable and still big enough to put a pair of cotton socks on for extra chilly days. Thrilled to find a slipper I love.
Nice slippers....better than scuffs. I think maybe they need to be broken in a bit because they are tight. Cannot wear socks with them, due to tightness. Hoping they will loosen up with time and wearing.
These look very nice on your feet once you get the right size. I would feel very comfortable on a quick run to the store in these too! I would like the arch to be a little higher, but it is comfortable anyway. The inside is so soft. I ordered a half size smaller than my normal size and they are perfect without socks. After reading reviews, I first tried a half size larger than my normal size and the were way too big. I started a return so I could order a half size smaller to get the perfect fit without socks. They fit and didn’t slip in the heel which shoes often do. If I had ordered my normal size, they would have been a little big to wear without socks. Probably wearing socks would have been fine in my normal size, although they may have slipped in the heel. You will love these if you can just find the perfect size. Update: I won’t be returning the size 8 because my grand daughter tried them and loves them so of course Nanny will keep them for her. So final thought, if they are loved by a 70 year old woman and a 20 year old college student they are comfy and look sharp too.
On my second pair of these slippers because for my plantar fasciitis, they're a great choice for around the house. Unfortunately the "fur" on the insole traps and holds foot sweat and odor like no one's business. I never ever have foot odor, and after just a few months of wear, I couldn't stand to be in the same room with my slippers after taking them off! A couple of rounds of storing the insole for 24 hours in baking soda, and then brushing it all out of the "fur" as well as I can, have made them wearable for a bit longer, but it's not going to keep them fresh forever. And Vionic says they don't sell replacement insoles for the slippers, just plain ones like you'd have in your regular shoes. Please Vionic, either invest in some material that doesn't trap odor, or at least sell replacement furry insoles! I can't buy new slippers every 3 months.
Very comfortable house slipper. I sized up half a size due to not available in Wide width. Normally wear a 7-1/2, I ordered an 8. No need for socks, the lining keeps my feet warm indoors.
I specifically looked for slippers/house shoes with arch support. These are the greatest arch support slippers/house shoes I have ever worn and would definitely purchase again. Sometimes I forget I am not wearing actual shoes when I walk out of the house and have to go back in to change. They have a great grip for traction going up and down wood stairs. They are a little on the expensive side, but having worn them for a year and absolutely no need to replace them, I wanted to write this review for my sole (no pun intended) purpose of purchasing them. Not paid for this review, just looking to share how impressed I am with the product.
