I've been wearing Vionics for years. I currently own 2 pairs of slippers, 4 pairs of sandels ( including this pair) and a pair of walking shoes. They are by far the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned. I have walked out of the house to run errands more times than I can count wearing my slippers. Not intentionally. They are just so comfortable I forget that I'm wearing them. The fact that they are of great quality and the company has excellent customer service makes up for them being on the high end of price. If you suffer from lower back pain and need arch support, these are the footwear for you.

Slides that slide
Really nice looking shoe in a great color annd comfortable when you first put them on. After wearing the Vionic Penelope for the last year, I wanted a pair of Vionic sandals that I would only have to slide into. In these; my feet sort of slip around and I can feel my toes grabbing on to the front of the sandal. Maybe the goring? My knees and hips hurt after having them on for only a few minutes walking in them. I guess no slides or flip flop type shoes for me anymore.

Love them but can't keep them on
I really really liked these sandals. They look good, they feel good. BUT I can't keep them on my feet. I'm accustomed to thongs, but I didn't want another pair. These sandals were quality, and I also think they were going to make my bone spur heels feel a lot better. I tried to wear them as tight as possible, which is easy with the adjustable Velcro closure. But NG. My feet aren't straight in the toe area (bunion), and I think that might be the reason I have the problem. I would definitely recommend them to anyone accustomed to that style sandal.

Adjustable slip-on sandal comfort
I need slip-on house sandals for walking on hard tile and hardwood floors. I also have to be careful due to lot of foot ailments that require an orthotic insole/footbed Vionic brand i excellent for providing good arch support required for my flat feet. I get tired of thong sandals. I really like that these sandals can be adjusted for tighter comfort using the built in velcro strap. Great design! Instant comfort!

Lacking arch support and misplaced arch support
I got these sandals in blue, and they look beautiful.The sizing is big for 9.5., closer to 10.However, I barely feel the arch support.What has Vionic done to their sandals in recent years? Even though it looks like it has the big and deep arch support, it's not as high. I put one sandal on, and I couldn't feel the arch support. I kind of pushed and bounced up and down, trying to feel it, but it's just not the same. I compared with my other sandals with the same footbed, and there's no comparison. I've purchased at least 10 Vionic slip-on sandals, along with several other types of Vionic shoes, over quite a few years; and I understand that some footbeds fit differently than others, some have different types of arch support, and not all of the sandals or other types of shoes fit my feet properly. However, this identical footbed in slip-on sandals has always been consistent, and offers exceptional arch support which also goes very deep, which I need. I recently bought a different type of Vionic sandal, a much dressier Style with a completely different footbed; and it was completely useless; in order to have the footbed arch meet with the arch on my foot, I had to pull my foot back with half my heel or more hanging off the back of the shoe; and therefore my toes were very far back in the shoe making these shoes completely unwearable. The arch support placement in this blue sandal seems to be slightly out of place, but irrelevant because it doesn't have the same level/size of arch support. I saw other reviewers mentioning lack of arch support, and I thought that was odd; until I experienced for myself.If you don't need much arch support, and you don't need the support to go deep, then these shoes are for you. If you need the support that Vionic used to offer in their sandals, and specifically with this footbed, you will be greatly disappointed. I have no idea where I'm going to find supportive sandals again; because apparently Vionic has really dropped the ball.UPDATE: I tried these on one more time before returning, and I discovered indeed the arch support is too far back in the shoe, and indeed it's still not as high as it should be. And the shoes are more like a size 10. Regardless whether they're truly a 9.5, which they are not, or if they are a 10 which is more likely, the arch support should be farther forward in the shoe. You know, like the arch support used to be in all the slide in sandals with the same footbed. I think I mentioned I had another Vionic sandal with the arch support even further back but it was the right amount of support, in the wrong place. Something has gone terribly awry with Vionic. I have two pairs of Vionic sandals remaining, and it seems I will never find a properly made Vionic sandal again. I wish I knew what brand is comparable to what Vionic used to be. I added photos and you can see how far my foot must go back to even be in the right place for the arch support. And then you can see how large this 9.5 is when I Center my foot in the shoe, but you can see the gap between my Arch and where the shoes arch should meet is much bigger than when I slide my foot back to try and match it up with the arch support. I hope that made some sense! I'm very disappointed, and these shoes must be returned now. And I'm at a loss as to where I'm going to find sandals with a proper arch support again.
