I wore these pair of sandals with a long sundress and jewelry when I was chosen to sing in the guest talent show on a recent cruise. Comfortable and go with everything

I was always the girl who liked flip flops and pretty slide shoes (Barbie shoes) with a medium small heel. NEVER "old lady shoes". I'd often pick up end of season and sale shoes. I never liked closed in shoes, though I'd recently bought cushiony, step in, Sketchers for working out and SoCal winter days.Well...I hit my 7th decade. Going to a gym workout class and making it a point to go to malls or large stores at least twice a week to walk.Near the beginning of the year, we went to the Savannah area to visit relatives. My heels were starting to feel like they were bruised on the bottom just before we went. We were kept very active sight seeing, dining, etc for a week. At one point, I went for a hike in the morning and immediately walking the streets of a nice town in the afternoon. Getting out of the car, I almost buckled to the ground in pain.My sister in law told me that her podiatrist recommended Vionic shoes and it's all she wears.When I got home, first I went to the drug store and got inserts for my new Sketcher slip ons. They were a little better but not enough.Scared, I went to the doctor. Plantar Fasciitus is the diagnosis.All my pretty shoes, including the sketchers, sit in garbage bags destined for Goodwill😮‍💨Now, I'm constantly flexing my feet to stretch the fascia and only wearing flip flops and Aesic sneakers to keep my feet happy.These are one of my favorites. They match most everything, look nice, and are very comfortable on my high arches and sensitive heels. No more pain!5 stars!
