The BEST shoes for bad joints!!

I now own at least 10 pairs of this brand in different styles. This review will focus on the flip flop style.Fit: Order down if you are a 1/2 size and they'll fit perfectly still. They are slightly wider than normal, but my more narrow feet fit great even when swollen to bursting levels.Support: A firm, supportive bed with a molded arch and heel cup. Even though they are firm, I can handle walking on concrete for over 6 hours without pain with this brand... in a FLIP FLOP!Style/Colors: Colors are true to pictures with tons of styles to choose from.Upper: The thong between the toes is woven fabric. The underside of the straps is a super comfy neoprene type material.I have dealt with severe sweat (100+ temp in the 99% humid south), being soaked to the bone, and sandy situations. I never slip in these, debris easily shakes off, cleaning is a breeze and they dry fast! The darker footbeds can get hot if left in direct sun in hot temps, but they are still able to be put on without pain.My 1st pair is now 4 years old and still look, fit, and feel like they did on their very first day! They do not stretch out and stay that way, but will stretch a little when needed (ie for swelling). Prices can run $30-100 for the basic flops like these. If you find a pair for $50, you've gotten a deal!

Attractive, well designed, tremendously comfortable and provides great support

These sandals are casual but elegant (can be dressed up or down). I wanted an attractive, quality shoe that provides comfort and superior arch support; that’s exactly what I got with this sandal. Initially the fit felt slightly (a half size) too big, but I hadn’t worn a thong type sandal in years, so after getting acclimated to them (within a couple of days) the fit feels great. I had a knee and calf injury a year ago that caused my arch to fall. It hurt to wear any flats or low heel shoes. These sandals made a positive difference and have really helped my feet and legs to feel better as I’m recovering.

UPDATE..I RETURNED THE SIZE 8 AND GOT A SIZE 7 AND THEY FIT PERFECTLY!I have plantar fasciitis, and I have to wear orthotic sandals in the summer. I need for them to have a very firm arch support and a deep heal cup. These are perfect! The arch support is perfect and the heel cup is just the right depth. I had 2 other pairs just like this in different colors, and they finally wore out after about five years, and so I’ve got these to replace them! Plus they’ve got sparkly on them! Yay!oh I am 5 foot five in way 135 pounds and normally I wear a size 7 1/2 but vionic tend to run a little big so I got a size 8. I wish I would’ve gotten a seven because they’re just a little tiny too big. But I’m not returning them. I’ll live through it. L O L.
