These shoes were well made, sturdy and comfortable. Unfortunately, they did not fit me properly so I had to return them. I needed new walking shoes for a trip and didn’t have time to reorder in a different size.
Just wow. I walk at least one hour a day, and athletic shoes are therefore very important. With my moderately-priced sneakers that I have always purchased, I had to cinch the shoe laces very tightly almost until they met in the middle because my feet are narrow, even with Size Narrow shoes. When I received these wonderful new shoes, my heart sunk because they appeared to be very wide. I thought perhaps I could cinch the show laces tightly together to make them work. However! the shoe laces could not be laced tightly together and.... the shoes fit perfectly! The gait in these new shoes was a little different but I quickly got used to them. My heel feels extremely protected inside the shoe and when I take a step it propels me forward. The shoes are extremely protective and comfortable and I will always purchase these shoes in the future, because there is no other shoe brand that even comes close. So glad to have discovered these shoes.
Love these shoes. Lots of arch support true to size. Comfortable. Walked all over Europe on cobblestone streets and no sore feet later.
Cute sneaker that fits well, are sturdy and provide good arch support. I've worn them on trails and paved walking paths for an hour everday, but no longer. The biggest drawback is lack of any cushioning. Other brands I've owned had far more cushioning with equal support - and less expensive. Can't return now or I would.
I do a lot of walking, I enjoy it, I can listen to my music and let go of anything frustration I may have, however, my feet have issues. I have a neuroma in one foot and arthritis in the other as well as plantar fasciitis. So, have a great shoe, that won’t break the bank is important. For me these walking shoes are it. They feel supportive without being too tight. I walk 2 to 2 1/2 hours every morning and my feet do not hurt or ache. These shoes actually feel so good. I did as recommended, wear the shoes for a couple days around the house to break them in. To be honest, I only picked this pinkish color because at the time they were the cheapest price of all the color choices, but when buying again, I’ll buy what ever color I like at the time now that I know how comfortable they are. I do wear my insoles in them, just for added comfort since I walk so much, don’t want the Plantar Fasciitis coming back. If you have problems with your feet, try these shoes, they’re great.
I have had two pairs of Vionic sandals over the years and they are the most supportive and comfy especially when I had a flare up of plantar fasciatis so I thought a pair of their sneakers would be helpful for being in my feet at work all day but boy was I disappointed! The footbed felt so uncomfortable , the arch was not in the anatomically correct position I could tell just walking across the room in them. If I had worn those to work I would have been in major pain so I had to return them. I was hoping the footbed would have the perfectly placed arch support that the sandals have but it was far from it.
I love Vionic. They are always improving their shoes not just settling on a great shoe and that's probably why this shoe is my fav so far.When I first put them on, I could feel the just right fit. Not too long, yet plenty of toe room. The heel counter is solid so the shoe doesn't slip. The Arch support keeps my foot where it should be for my knees and back.Additionally, being a senior citizen with balance issues, I could feel the improvement in my step, and am so grateful for that.Even though I am elderly, that doesn't mean I don't care about style. I enjoy the latest look, yet I also love a classic classy appearance. I chose a more expensive rose and white with silver accents color and it is truly more beautiful than the picture. Yes-expensive for me anyway, but I just bought them anyway and what a smile they created when I put them on my feet. (I haven't bought shoes in a long while) I highly recommend these shoes for walking, grocery and other shopping, and I hope if you buy them you will love them like I do - I know your feel will!
