Fashionable AND comfortable
I bought these specifically because I wanted to look nice while walking around places in Europe but my foot can start hurting easily without the right support. These are great shoes that are cute but make it so realistic to walk around all day.Only con is that the strap that goes around the back is pretty short. It fits me fine but I bought my mom a pair too and she could not clip the shoes together at the back because she had a wider ankle. Please make the back either more stretchy or have a longer strap!

Love 'em so much I'm ordering another pair!
I tried my first pair and I've worn them for many months - and I love them so much I'm buying more!For me, style was more important than the arch support and these are by far the cutest pair of "orthotic support" sandals I've found. I bought these sandals because I got Plantar Fasciitis and I'll tell you... they really are SO much comfortable and supportive than other sandals. They run big and even at .5 size down from my normal size they seem a little "loose" but I'm used to that now. I'm going to buy one in every color they come in. I hope Vionic does not ever discontinue this style and continues to expand the color range.I HIGHLY recommend these sandals!

Super comfortable, better than flip flops!
Love this sandal! I wear an 8 1/2 in shoes, never had to order a different size for any shoe. Ordered that size in this shoe and it fits perfectly. It’s extremely comfortable, my feet are very happy in these. They do flop a little as you step in them but I’m a Florida girl, we wear flip flops everywhere so I’m pretty used to it. They don’t flop as much as a flip flop so it’s better. Love the arch support. I have a lot of heel pain recently and these sandals alleviated that pain right away. I do think they are more on the casual side, I wouldn’t wear them on a date with hubby, but they are perfect for my day to day use running errands. Great purchase, I recommend these sandals.

Very Supportive, but loud
I love them but they are weird to walk in. I think they are so supportive that the base doesn’t allow sole flexibility for a normal walk - at least not on a hard floor. If there’s carpet, all good. I still bought the other pair in gold just now, because the sandal does look great on me, it is supportive and the toe post doesn’t bother me. The ones with the strap running across your feet just above the toes are the bane of my existence, so for me, the freedom of my toes is heaven. The cost is great, you can’t beat Vionic’s quality. The brown is great, and I love gold so why not another pair. They fit well too, since you can adjust the ankle strap and you can’t beat Vionic’s foot bed. I don’t mind making a lot of noise as I walk, the shoe is comfortable so everyone else around me can suffer in their heels. I get the same height without all the discomfort from these shoes. Also I’ve worn them several times, and they take the wear and tear of an office work day. Highly recommend, if you don’t mind making noise as you walk by 🤭👋🏼

Exactly what I was looking for, but a little large
It's amazing how difficult it is to find a thonged leather sandal with a simple strap in back (well, one that isn't slathered with bling that belongs in a Florida retirement community, anyway). I don't like plain old flipflops because they won't stay on when running/jumping/etc; I need a strap to hold them in place. And I want them to be sturdy because I'll be clambering down steep paths to get to the beach or whatnot.These do exactly that, with just enough padding in the sole to be comfortable. They don't provide a great deal of support, but I don't expect them to, either. I do wish they came in more colors (I'd probably buy one of each), and I'd rather be able to tighten them a bit more; I have a tendency to slide around a bit in the sandal, which makes it a little bit wobbly on inclines.All in all, though, these are exactly what I wanted, and show off my pedicure beautifully in the summer.

Very disappointed in performance and fit
So surprised to wear these as they do not perform anything as stated in my opinion. My foot slides around so much that the heel cup is useless. It fits looser as the strap doesn’t tighten enough and I do not have narrow feet at all. I can see how one could twist an ankle wearing these as your foot slips that much when wearing. It’s a shame as they are a visually appealing shoe and vionic has been a good brand for me in the past. One good point is that the toe area doesn’t hurt at all so at least that one part is comfortable. Footbed seems nice but your foot will not stay stable In it for any time.

UPDATE to Strapping around ankle broke easily.
Been wearing Vionic shoes for years. Currently have 14 pair. They are very comfortable and can wear all day without any foot pain. The reason for the low rating is because after about 10 times of wearing this sandals, the strap broke where it attaches to the metal ring. It tore away on the seam where it was sewn. The needle holes where it was sewn gave it a weakened line to tear across. Unfortunately, it is hard to complete your work day in a broken sandal. Also, it broke just four days after the 30 day return policy. Very pricy for only a few days of wearing. Left a voicemail with company today, hoping someone contacts me.UPDATE: Birkenstock of San DiegoShop contacted me today. They are going to replace the pair of shoes immediately and send a prepaid shipping label to return the broke pair. Therefore, I am changing my rating to a five star rating. I understand that things happen, it is how we handle them that is important. Birkenstock of San Diego Stores have taken great care of this issue in a very timely manner, causing the rating to increace to a five star.NEW UPDATE: As of July 5,2020 I still have not received the replacement pair of Vionic sandles from Birkenstock from San Diego Stores. I sent the broken pair back immediately after they broke.
