Style and comfort highly recommend 5/5

Bought these boots in my normal size 8 as it was on a good sale. I am glad I didn’t size up because even my regular size had plenty of room for me to wear socks and not feel squeezed. I don’t find these shoes to be narrow at all. I have regular width feet that’s not narrow. The leather is buttery soft and needed no break in time. I was surprised. I have high arch and these boots have great support and my feet feels very comfortable in them walking. I got the white one and might get black later. They are one of my favorite boots now. Love size zipper for easy on and off. White looks ready in summer with floral dresses or just with any color I think. The profile is slim and makes me feet look dainty and flattering.Almost looks like one of those Victorian era laced up boots. It wasn’t hot wearing them in summer days either. Overall very pleasantly satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend these.

Fantastic Comfortable "Combat" Boots

I have been looking for lace-up boots like these for years--thank you, Vionic, for creating them. They are supportive and super-comfortable even on first wearing. I have bunions and a hammertoe and have made many mistakes buying too-narrow shoes and having them stretched, which rarely works. I was so happy to be able to order these in wide. Took the advice of other buyers and loosened the laces before trying to fit my feet into the boots. They look great, and not at all like gunboats as I had feared. The olive green (I think they call it sage) suede are soft but don't look flimsy. Great purchase!

Very comfortable. Size a bit big after stretch.

These shoes were so comfortable. I bought them to go with my Eras costume for the Taylor Swift Eras concert in Nashville. Two pair of hose, my custom orthotics and a pair of socks and they fit great. I have severe plantar fascitis. I wore them for over 12 hours and while my feet were a but sore from standing it wasn't due to the shoes. Fifty year old feet just aren't made to stand for over 12 hours. I would probably buy the same size next time as they didn't have half sizes.

Great, stylish boots. Break 'em in before hitting the pavement

I was going to the UK and I tend to walk many miles a day whenever I travel... The only problem was, I was a few months out from spraining my ankle and it was still stiff and a bit "off." So I decided to buy something with extra support (and something that could handle some persistently wet and chilly weather).I have two slightly diff sized feet and I usually buy the smaller size, but after seeing people say these ran a touch small, I bought my larger size. That was the right call. As others have mentioned, the toe feels weirdly narrow, but I found that this snugness relaxed quickly once I started wearing them. The bigger fit issue, for me, was that the zipper is pretty far forward toward the arch, which meant it was a tight fit for my still-very-stiff ankle unless I unlaced the boot too. Not a huge deal, but the whole reason I seek zip-sides is to have an easy on-off.I wore them around the house and neighborhood for a couple of weeks before the trip. Even then, I had a little breaking in left to do. The first couple days in the UK, I could feel them rubbing on my heel. Thankfully I was wearing thick socks (and recommend the same to anyone for the first few weeks).Once they were broken in, they were breezy! My ankle weathered the trip beautifully in these. And I got compliments on how they look! The only downside now, and the reason they aren't five stars is that they're breaking down quickly at the ankle. The softer leather is nice, but I have other soft leather boots that can retain their upright appearance much better. These are starting to look a little scrunched now that the trip is over. Still about worth what I paid though, to enjoy a trip without my ankle getting too out of whack!

My go to shoes

Edit: they fell apart after 1 year and I didn't even wear them every day. I'm a teacher and I live in nyc so heavy-ish wear, but I also own multiple shoes for each season so disappointing. I tried making them work last winter and fall because the leather is still perfectly in tact, but even then it stretched out only on side and the soles are just shot.I love these. They stretch out nicely within the first wear or 2, honestly can't remember. I wore them like crazy through most of winter and early spring. They're great for hiking in the woods, walking through the rain, and for work. I'm a teacher and I'm on my feet a lot so comfort + style are very important for me. They look cute with just about everything. They're in great condition and I imagine, they will be my go to shoes for the colder months until they fall apart.

My new favorite fall boots

These boots are awesome. They're narrow looking but fit comfortably. They're stylish and go with dresses and leggings alike. I love these boots. Very comfortable. I wear 9.5 to 10, medium width.

Stylish but so comfortable, supportive and light weight!

These boots look so classy and are very comfortable. They felt a little tight when first tried, but broke in to fit well the first time I wore them. Lightweight and supportive also. I love Vionic footwear and these boots!
