Love the color, Italian craftsmanship and retro styling, but for the $199 price point, the insole should be of higher quality and the sole should be stiffer. I wear size 46 in Shimano and these are very close in size. IMO- these would be a great buy at around the $150 price point.
Great shoe. Runs big I wear an 8 normally, bought a 7.5 and could still probably go down to a 7. Super light and comfortable. The short does break off on the lace easily. Had to replace laces
For the most part I really like these shoes. They are very narrow so if you require a wider shoe just be aware. I made a few adjustments and after they break in they feel pretty good. Awesome quality beautiful workmanship and over all nice gravel and cycling shoe.
I use this shoe for allroad and gravel riding. I love the styling of the shoes, but they have a host of performance and other problems including: a flexible sole that causes mid-foot pain after about an hour of riding, laces that are too short, a lacing system that forces you to stop mid-ride and relace when your feet swell, and a sole that collects rocks and other debris if you have to walk.
These shoes-WOW!-awesome! I don't get too excited about shoes, but these things are so beautiful and well made! I got the purple color and depending on the light it is blue or purple. So cool. I wear a 9.5 in US and that is what I ordered and it fits perfectly. One reviewer said the shoe is narrow and I agree. But over time I am sure it will loosen up.
