These boots are lightweight and soft they're supposed to be water resistant but again they're Christmas gifts actually not gifts but my grandsons Mom haven't came to get the boots yet. I love that they are slip resistant to.

These boots are great for cold weather. They feel sturdy and well-made, with a warm, soft lining that keeps feet comfortable even in low temperatures. The fit is true to size, and the Velcro strap makes them easy to put on and take off while still feeling secure. I also like the thick sole—it provides good grip and support, especially on slippery surfaces. Overall, they look nice, keep feet warm, and are a good value for the price.
So the boot is sturdy.the heal has this cool ice pick thing in it that folds into itself/the boot. It doesn't go through the sole, but the metal (yes it's a metal icepick feet thing) won't clunk of floors unless you've seriously worn out the soles of the boot itself. Which, to be honest, would be impressive if you did.The only complaint is that the very top doesn't tighten well and is just tight enough, but not tight enough (if that makes sense) that it will rub on the skin and cause irritation or even break the skin of the foot where the top of the boot is rubbing. So make sure pants are tucked in or at least have high socks.Other than that small complaint, I have no issues with this and will look to buy another pair in winter if they are still around for my kid because the ice heal thing is just a rocken idea. Of coure I live in a cold state in the US and I've slipped on ice too many times.... anything that prevents me or my family from a rapid (and unintentional) sitting on the ground is good with me.
My son absolutely loves these boots! He wears them happily on snowy and icy days, and his feet stay warm and comfortable. They’re sturdy, easy to put on, and great for winter outdoor play. Very happy with this purchase.
