Must Have!!!

These shoes are prefect for those that are trying to build strength in their feet. This is my wife’s first pair and I have 2 already. Love the feel and fit. Be AWARE, run small so make sure you shop down a size. I usually wear a 10 and I wear a 9 or 42 in Vivobarefoot brand. Durable, all day comfort and I can tell a difference in my feet. I wear them everyday to the gym and errands. No complaints.

No Break-In Period & Durable + Helpful Sizing Info!

These boots are expensive but they are so worth it! I highly recommend getting these boots when they are on sale to help with affordability. These were exactly what I was looking for. They are barefoot, durable, and actually look nice. I also found the ankle support to be supportive but not restrictive. It was recommended to size up in these boots (I am an 8 for nearly all other brands and fairly reliably a 7.5 in Vivos) so I ordered a size 9 and they ended up being too big so I ordered an 8 and they were perfect. When I was on active duty I wore the Belleville Mini-Mil boots and while they were ok, these are way more comfortable and Vivo should seriously consider making a combat boot for barefoot service members!

Great but had to size up

I was glad to find these for less on Amazon than on the vivo website. I had to go up a size from the rest of my vivos from a 9 to a 10 in these. The 9 was too tight in my toes. I was able to put a cushioned “barefoot” friendly insole on the 10 to make up for the extra space. These boots were comfortable right out of the box for a week of hiking in the mountains. I like the beefier sole too. If you’re not used to barefoot shoes, do some research and prep yourself before buying.

Comfortable, good quality.

These are the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever had, and believe me I have had many. The leather is top quality and they are "cute".Happy with my purchase.

Magna Forrest ESG -

Got the Magna Forest ESG - they would be perfect if they were wide like most barefoot shoes. I only wear barefoot shoes (including other Vivo shoes) but these are so narrow my toes were numb after about 20 minutes of wear. I do not have wide width feet but these are way too tight, even for average foot width which is disappointing in a barefoot shoe. They look great- built well- tread is great. After 1 hike the color was fading but I would have kept them anyway if they had space for my feet. I had to return them- I did take them off and hike literally barefoot for a while to get feeling back in my toes. The narrowness/tightness across the top of the boot makes them impossible to wear.

They are comfortable BUT

I love the big squarish toe box, very comfortable. Have worn in downpours walking through wet grass and my feet stay dry. What I don’t like is this is the worst lacing system ever! The eyelet on side turns so can’t just catch with the lace and start up and the strange middle configuration makes it difficult to lengthen or shorten the laces? So now I just don’t use the one eyelet and fight with the lacing up every time I put on these boots. As far as walking and wearing around, I really like them.

Runs small

I had mixed feeling about these boots at first. I ordered my normal size. The boots that came were way too small and super tight and stiff in the ankles. I returned them twice before finally getting a pair that fit. They were still a little tight in the ankle but as long as I lace them loosely they work well. High quality shoe. Wide toe box. Thin, flexible, grippy sole. The more the leather gets broken in the more comfortable they get and they look great!
