Hands down, the most comfortable shoe I ever have worn. My husband and myself had bought these shoes and have been on a lot of camping and hiking trips with them. Very durable, waterproof and extremely comfortable. It feels true to size, I am a 39 in Germany and got a 8 wide in US - and it fits comfortably.
I’ve gone on several 5+ mile hikes with these and also wear them for work a few days per week. I do a lot of walking for work. They’re so stable but still allow me to feel the ground under my feet. When I first got them they were really comfortable except for a little stiffness at the ankles. A good pair of wool blend socks definitely helps with ankle rubbing. Now that I’ve had them a while they’re nicely broken in, no tightness at the ankles. I broke my left tibial plateau several years ago and have trouble wearing anything with an elevated heel. These have been a game changer! I’m hiking Machu Picchu in October and planning on taking these.

This are a very good looking boots. I love Vivobarefoot but this one was a dissapointment. Is true they are stiff, not like other Vivo shoes I have. This one is definitely not the same quality when talking about comfort. Had to return.
I’ve worn vibrams for years but thought I’d try a high top zero drop with a bit more protection for winter. I bought too large so it’s a bit sloppy. I dont have huge ankles so the ankle cuffs are a bit large. But I can wear a thick sock so in winter they should be fine. As far as grip.. definitely not for indoor fake wood surfaces. I’m a nurse and wore them at work a few times and yes they were comfy for 12 hours, but our fake wood with even a touch of water on floor was not a fun experience. These are obviously meant for outdoors and for that purpose they are pretty great. I haven’t gotten to use in winter snow yet so we will see how it goes. Fingers crossed. Will I hike in these? Idk yet. I really enjoy hiking in my vibrams. These shoes are a bit “heavier” than what I’m used to but if you compared them to a Salomon boot it’s probably comparable.Stylish for sure.
Love love love these boots. So comfy to wear to work. Enough room for my feet and all my toes—not like most shoes. I usually wear 9.5 but measured according to the chart and size 10 is perfect for me.
