Volatile flip-flops rule!
I am compelled to tell shoppers that Volatile flip-flops are the absolute best sandal for the money! I own many styles with either a 2.50 or 2.75 wedge heel (but they also come in lower wedge heels 1.0-2.0, and higher wedge heels 3.0-4.0). I wear a size 8 or 9 depending on the style. I have a bum hip and the wedge provides amazing relief when I walk in these sandals. The foot bed is very thick, accommodating, and holds up for years. I do everything in these sandals, including long dog walks and walking on my treadmill. Functionally, there is no better sandal. The fact that they come in an array of affordable styles and colors makes them unbeatable in the market place. I recently purchased 'Glimpse' because I wear a lot of grey (this style also comes in natural and black). These can be dressy or casual because they have a bit of bling, but also because they have a higher wedge heel (approx 4") than most of my other Volatile's. The foot bed is so comfortable and cushiony that the higher wedge is no problem to wear. And I feel more glamorous in the higher heel so there's a plus.

Volatile RULES
I was born with congenitally short tendons. I walk on the ball of my foot, and have since I learned to walk (I'm 40 now). I discovered Volatile while looking for some high wedge sneakers to work out in. A lot of wedges don't work for me, because the platform is too high (a 4 inch heel with a 2 inch platform is the same for me as trying to wear flats - doesn't work). I'm on my eight? ninth? pair of Cash sneakers. I'm hard on shoes, but these hold up well while I'm pounding away on the treadmill or dancing on an elliptical. Going barefoot tends to put a lot of strain on my calves (yay gravity!) so about a decade ago I took to wearing wedge sandals even around the house. My go-to were Victoria's Secret brand, which they've sadly stopped making. I was ecstatic to discover that Volatile made an entire line of shoes! I've been trying to find a pair of their flip flops for YEARS. I just could not find a pair in my size. I wear a six to a six and a half, and they just didn't seem to exist. I even went directly to Volatile's site, but no luck.So you can imagine my joy when I FINALLY found these, in my size, and at a decent price. Volatile makes a great product, so while I was not willing to pay $40 for a pair of cheap foam flip flops from China, I was more than willing to fork it over for these. I was not disappointed when the arrived, either. These are sturdy, well made shoes that I'm sure I'll be able to get more than a season of wear out of.Oh, and while I was hunting around for the flip flops in my size, I discovered Very Volatile. I have a pair of dressy little silver and black wedges that are to DIE for. Check out this brand if you haven't. You won't be disappointed.
