Very comfy and fit true to pretty true to size, maybe slightly running small. I usually wear 12 in boots and dress shoes and 13s in sneakers. Have held up great for me for the last few months. Cleans easy and are perfect for office/warehouse style and cover me when I have to go into the field. First pair of volcoms I’ve owned and won’t be the last!
When it comes to safety shoes, they've been the same for a long time but these shake up the whole scene with a new design like everyone's favorite lightweight "H.D." shoes when they are out of work and wearing shorts.They are almost as comfortable as their non-safety-toed cousins but they meet those pesky safety standards that are required when entering some work areas.I'm not sure I would wear these every day in a factory where you are sometimes better off with ankle protection and would benefit from some old-school work boots but if you're in an environment where you have less industrial strain put on you and you just want to cover the bases when it comes to safety then these could be the perfect solution for you!I will wear these when performing training in industrial settings so I can be OK with other companies' policies while on their site.I wear size 13 and they fit me perfectly out of the box with no break in necessary. These are composite toes and not steel toes like many others have so there is less weight to carry around and they are barely noticeable.I will try to check in again after some use to give a durability update.
I like how light the shoes are for work.. its pretty comfy too.. just a little big on me.. im usually a size 8 or 8.5 in mens but this 8 is a lil big on me.. but all in all still pretty good.. fast shipping too
These are the perfect shoe for me. I work in the commercial construction industry as a project manager. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn that meet my needs at any plant, warehouse, or power plant. Days when I’m in the office: Amazing. Days when I’m walking around projects and on my feet 14 hours: Wonderful. Days when I need safety toe electrically rated shoes: The best.I’m not going to say they will handle grueling weld slag landing on them, or other jobs leather boots could be superior. But if you want a comfortable shoe that meets safety standards, you’ve found the shoe for you.
Size 11- fit is correct. Comfortable and functional!
True to size (ordered 11) however, while wearing low cut ankle socks, both shoes cut into the back of my heels. Within 2 hours of work I had cuts and chafe marks on both ankles. Had to wrap feet in electrical tape to mitigate damage, as I didn’t bring a change of shoes. Took a week to heal. These shoes look good, but I can’t wear them because of this design flaw. Lasted one day.
