Comfy

Good comfy boot keeps my foot comfortable through the whole shift, I have a mid arch and they are very comfy to wear for a long period of time.

Comfy, the good reviews are true, great boot

These boots required no breaking in at all. From the first time wearing them they were very comfortable, immediately able to work a 8+ hour shift with no problems. No blisters, no heel pain, no arch pain, good support, convenient zip with the ability to tighten with the laces. A great boot, I will likely buy a second pair. The flat footed aspect of this boot is perfect and is something that this boot has that many do not. Many boots of this quality are heeled, but because the Volcom boot is flat it provides great traction and mobility. Can wear to semi formal events, they blend in, casual, hiking, restaurant work, labor intensive work. They're water resistant, and solid at being water proof, are non slip except on smooth metal surfaces.

Cool but painful

I work 12 hour days and it's been 3 weeks and these dudes are not broke in yet 😔

Not worth it.

Didn't last a year in welding/metal fabrication work. Kneeling seem to break them down faster. They are comfortable but lacking in durability.

Boot has a reinforced toe. Good if you want it. I don't.

I was unaware that the boot had a reinforced toe until I received it. It does not clearly state that it has one. I have been looking for a boot with everything else this boot had to offer, but in a soft toe. Still can't find one with decent construction. However, the return was easy, and I can't give a 5 star rating on a return.

Good boot/10

Comfortable; lightweight and breathable; just my style. The soles have a slitted vertical pattern on the sides to deflect impacts, which is a nice touch.I want to wear these shoes everyday! Good job Volcom Stone.Edit: After five months of everyday wear, beating the absolute dog crap out of them, the plastic began to peel away from the cloth that comprises the upper; after six months, the soles finally parted ways with the uppers.I may attempt to repair them as I love the style, but these realistically are not TOUGH work boots.
