Good looking shoes, a nice plain style
Although these are men's shoes, I thought I'd try the size 7-7.5 in the Dark Blue color and see if they fit my size 9-9.5 woman's foot.They do fit actually. And they're good looking shoes, I wanted to try the espadrille style which I've never had before, and thought I would get the other color too if these worked.They're okay. They are well made and a nice plain style. For my particular foot they have 2 problems which are typical for me in women's shoes and in the few pairs of men's shoes I've tried.They aren't very structured in the heel. They don't really cup around your heel. For some people that might be fine, but for me I have narrow heels and my feet slip out of shoes easily, like these.Also the toe box is low. There isn't enough height in the toe box for me. Some people might not need that much height in the toe box area.The sole is surprisingly stiff. I'm not familiar with this type of shoe but I didn't expect the soles to be stiff and hard. I thought they would be more flexible. Maybe they will soften up, I did try bending them a lot with my hands, I could do more.They are nice shoes and well made, just maybe not exactly right for me. They will probably work fine for someone else.

Order 1 size up from your size
You should order a size up from your normal size. If you are already wear size 12 forget it. They aren’t going to fit. I bought 11-11.5 and I actually wear 10.5 and had to reorder the 12

Comfortable and light for casual weekend use

Run a little small for American sizes
These shoes feel well made. I think they run a little small for American sizes and have narrower width than I'm accustomed to. These don't have much arch support or cushioning, which I think is pretty typical of this style of shoe. The color matches the photos well. The heels don't rub the back of your heels in a blister-forming way. The soles are noticeably non-slip, very grippy indeed.It's a decent pair of casual shoes for outings, but I don't think I'd pick them for being on my feet all day.
