Good shoes if you like the look.

Comfortable shoes. The laces need to be longer though. Well made and they hold up well. I have enjoyed them and how comfortable they are.

Great for all-day wear, but maybe not for running.

As one would hope from wide toe box shoes, these are very comfortable - your toes aren't crammed together in an unnatural shape. I have put about 7 miles on these shoes in the last few days, and find them very comfortable, though they do take a bit of getting used to. For one, your toes don't "touch" the ground, due to how the sole curves upward in the front. At first, it's disconcerting, and it feels as if you might fall over, but after a very little amount of time, you get used to it. As you step forward, your foot "rocks' forward, making your toes come in contact with the ground, and providing a bit of spring as you propel yourself forward as you make a step. This leads to less fatigue. That said, I would not recommend these for jogging, and especially for trail running, since your toes are not in contact with the ground, until you push forward. The laces aren't particularly grippy, and they tend to untie themselves, but they could be replaced if you find this to be a problem. I'm not sure how long the self-installed arch supports will last (I feel like the adhesive is going to give out over time in hot, humid shoes) - but you may not feel you need them anyway - there's already some arch support built in. But it's nice they include additional support if needed. I also appreciate the very grippy-feeling soles - these might be great for food service workers who spend their whole day on their feet, on differing floor surfaces.

Curved Toe Throws A Curve

This is a vine review meaning the product was provided to be reviewed. This product is a pair of men’s mesh wide toed tennis shoes with laces to be tied. The product is packaged in a labeled brown cardboard shoebox suitable for gifting if wrapped. See attached detail photograph of product in box. These are very comfortable shoes. I ordered my normal size and my feet had room inside the shoe. My toes did not rub against the side of the shoe, as they do in lesser shoes. The shoes have laces which must be tied. I tied the laces somewhat loosely and was able to slip the shoes on and off without untying the laces. I consider this a plus. The outline of the shoe is definitely that of a wide toed shoe. This is a trade-off versus the comfort of the shoe. Personally, I would rather have a comfortable shoe that I can walk distances in without hurting my feet then a stylish shoe that rubs against my toes and becomes very uncomfortable over time. See attached detail photograph of shoes on feet. These shoes have a pronounced curve from the ball of the foot to the toes and lift the toes off the floor. I found this disconcerting and I am not accustomed to having my toes off the floor when I walk. I found it difficult to keep my balance without concentration, something I do not experience with my old K-Suisse shoes. I do not think it is necessary for shoes to lift toes off of the floor and make it difficult to balance. I deducted one star because of this. See attached detailed photograph of sole of shoe showing pronounce curve of front of shoe.In summary, these are very comfortable shoes but they also take some getting used to when walking because of the pronounced curve at the front of the shoe that lifts one’s toes off the floor.

Comfortable shoe for wide feet.

It is hard to find wide shoes so I was quite happy to see this as a wide-specific shoe choice, with a re-enforced heel for slipping on. As for fit: they are great for my feet. Perfect length and snug but comfortable. The color and style look nice - a bit of sheen to some of the detailing. This has a wide toe base and I have to admit when I look down at the they do appear unusually wide, but still quite comfortable. I wore these all day long after getting them and they did great. They come with laces. This shoe is not hands-free slip-on. The heel is firm but tongue of the shoe is a bit loose and floppy, so you need to grab the tongue and keep it taunt.

Wide running shoes for comfort

I wear these wide running shoes mostly for walking and sometimes when I go to the park with my wife. The first thing I noticed was the toe box. My toes do not feel crowded or squeezed together, so I do not get blisters like I did with some of my old sneakers. The arch support feels different from regular shoes, and my feet do not hurt after I have been on them for a long time. I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes help with that because my heels and the bottom of my feet feel less sore at the end of the day.The mesh on the outside keeps my feet cool, even when it is warm outside. I like the way the shoes feel when I walk on different ground. I have worn them on the sidewalk, in the gym, and at the store, and I never slipped. The laces are easy to tie and do not come loose much. I picked the all black color because it goes with most of my pants and shorts.I use these shoes almost every day now. They are easy to clean, and they still look pretty new.
