Warm fleece, non-slip soles, longer and lighter than standard booties.

I really like these warm up booties. This winter has been pretty cold, and I realized I needed all the extra warm-up for the ankles and calves I could get. SIZING: I wear size 9.5 in shoes and have very long legs, and size XL fits me perfectly with or without the ballet or jazz shoes underneath. On my legs they go mid-calf, while for someone shorter they might reach even higher. This is higher than regular warm-up booties, and calves definitely need extra warming. These boots are so light and soft – it is a pleasure to do any exercises in them, where it is a beginning of a dance class or Pilates or just stretching at home. The blue color is nice and cheerful without being too bright. Another plus is that these are easy to wash, and they dry fast, easier than woolen socks, plus they have the non-slip leather pads, which make all the difference on the hardwood floors.I highly recommend this product.

These are so luxurious

I took ballet for years as a child (and still I’m a twinkle toe klutz), but we didn’t have anything like these luxurious boots. Of course, I won’t wear them for anything related to dance, but I will enjoy the warmth of the lucious polar fleece fabric and the safety of the leather patches on the soles. I got the light blue in XL; I’m an 8.5 shoe. I was pleased that the socks come just to under my knee (I’m 5’3”), and the elastic keeps them in place.

Blue toes no mo'

I have poor temperature regulation and am not a dancer. As soon as I wear these booties for a few minutes, not only are my feet not cold, even my fingers are also a normal temperature. No shoes or socks have resolved this. I happy to have found these booties to keep my feet toasty. Their sizing chart also mapped perfectly.
