These are seriously the cutest toddler and kid shoes! The toe box is wide *enough*, could be wider, but I'm satisfied with it. The soles are also relatively flexible, allowing their feet to move as naturally as possible in cool-weather shoes. They are very very easy to get on and off, but not so much that they slip off. I will be repurchasing next year for my oldest in a bigger size, and reusing hers for my youngest.
These shoes are great! We have bought a few pairs from this brand in different styles and they look nice and hold up to a toddler’s involved play. My son seems to be really comfortable in them and runs naturally. They’re lightweight, flexible and washable. I also love that he can put them on without help. I regularly recommend them to others.

Our favorite shoes! We have owned every model of watelves And this is our favorite one. Its not bulky. High quality. Stays on. And my sons loves them. He has wide bulky feet and this brand is great for a minimalist toe shaped barefoot shoe. Highly recommend. As for sizing… the sizing chart doesnt make sense to me. I sized up our size 9’s to 10.5’s and they are perfect. Id say my son is a typical size 10 in other shoes — foot measures 6.5” for reference.
Cute and functional! Win-win! My 18 month old is an outside monster, he is constantly getting wet feet, but I wanted barefoot shoes on a budget! They dry faster than normal sneakers, easy to get on and off.
