I got these for a special adventure with my daughter. They fit exactly my size which is a 7 1/2 to an eight.They were very comfortable and snuggly that I did not get a blister.

Minimalist Runner? Not Quite...
I wasn’t interested in a water shoe. Years ago I tried some minimalist runners; you know back when this was super-trendy? I liked them, I have always preferred a forward-foot strike vs. a heel strike so these were more natural for me as I had to force myself to heel strike (lessons from others telling me this was “right” and I was simply running "wrong"). However minimalist runners remain a niche product and I recently pulled out an old pair and realized how much I liked them. They are still available, but the price is well into the $100+ range; there is nothing here that warrants that kind of money as minimalist extends to engineering, development, material, and manufacturing cost too.I went looking at alternatives and found water shoes. I did some Internet research, and many say these are not interchangeable despite how much they look interchangeable. Here is my take; marketing. You see how much minimalist running shoe premium is? Of course, they want to tell you to keep buying those. Rather than rely on the Internet, I did some independent research and acquired these to look for myself.Differences are entirely in the soles. The soles of these water shoes are much more substantial; not more supportive or cushioning but definitely thicker and less flexible. I will take that tradeoff.The one caution I have here is the sizing. I ordered based on US Men’s size shoes, what was delivered was European sizing and the conversion was flawed. I hope they get this corrected. However the vendor was responsive and I was able to get shoes in the correct size; I am glad I went to this extra effort because I do like them as trail or off-road runners where I appreciate the extra sole. These are not going to replace my super-flexible minimalist runners, but they will have space in my arsenal of different shoes for different purposes. I am totally glad I tried these.

I returned this particular model
I have several types by this manufacturer. Most of them fit similarly, but this particular one fit small, so I returned them.The ones I like all have a similar make. This one is different in style. I have one in black, silver-grey, green, orange and off white.They are all quite comfortable to wear for long periods. I have a lot of foot problems - I guess these work for me because they are very flexible and don't constrict my foot movement - so no pain. I do remove the thin inner sole and add a better (more expensive) sport Inner sole.

Took a while to dry
Loved the style, color and quality. Skip resistance was perfect. Worked great for climbing Dune’s Fall in Jamaica. The only draw back was it took the shoes a little more time to dry out than expected. It was over cast and rainy which could have contributed. I would recommend.
