An awesome shoe from a Chinese company!!!
I'm all for buying locally or at least within your respective country. God, family, & country. However my country is going thru this weird culture phase where everything is upside down, ugly is pretty & vice versa. This culture extends to all areas including footwear. I found these boots/shoes after never ending searches on Amazon & rolled the dice. I bought both styles & they both exceed any expectations. If you remember when Converse was making combat boots, that's how these feel. They feel & wear like hightop Reeboks shoes but are waterproof with traction like a boot. They don't have composite toes or anything like that but if you doing framing or walk on dimensional lumber, you know you need shoes that can let you flex your feet. The style is great as well, I wish the tan boots had the laces like the camo or maybe offer the crank up lace cord that is on the tan boots as an option for any of their shoes. If you're in between sizes definitely round up to the next whole size. the width is normal width & the arch support could be more but is far better than most any other boots around. I have a ridiculously high arch in my foot & always buy insert supports. It's not a heavy shoe, very light & thus it's not a cold weather boot but you can easily wear wool socks & not be cramped. I can't say anything about quality other than it looks to be good, I'm crossing my fingers that they hold up. They're a little high on price but they're well worth it for me YMMV.

Hand down the best hunting boots over ever owned.
I can't express enough how happy I am with these boots.For the last few years I've tried several styles of boot and each of them had at least one thing that just didn't work for hunting but these boots really are designed specifically for hunting and it shows.The size chart is accurate, The fit is amazing, snug on the heel but with enough out of the box flexibility to allow for great range of motion. The toe box is wide and offers room for good warm socks.They are quiet, water proof and very warm. Hunting out here in the Midwest we get a lot of really wet heavy snow and these boots handle it with our issue.The heels are nice and thick but you can feel enough through them to avoid unseen hazards under the snow.The laces get them nice and snug without any pinching and the eyelets are placed well.The fabric is really and snag resistant, I've walked straight through some of the thickest briar and Thorne patches without any damage at all.These boots are built for the outdoors and give you all the time you need out in the woods.For the money you really can't argue with the value in the quality and design.

Nice Winter Boot
Overall these are a good quality boot. They have a nice amount of cushion without being too soft. The low heel and basically zero drop is great for people that like a more barefoot feel. These don't have a lot of arch support, which is expected with this style boot, and is the reason I ordered them. They are roomy enough for adding your own inserts if needed though, so don't let that deter you.They have great traction, and did well on the snow. The insulation is great, which was one of the things i Was looking for. I wanted a lightweight but warm boot and these absolutely fit the bill. They are super lightweight and easy to get your foot in when you loosen the wires enough. The style is very much like a hiking version of a combat boot, which isn't my favorite, but is ok. If I was still on the military, I would have loved these for my cold weather boots.The heel is a little wonky and walking in them felt a little awkward at first, but I was able to get used to it pretty quickly. The real reason they didn't get 5 stars in the system used for tightening them. It uses plastic wires and a knob that you crank. The problem is getting the lower laces tight enough without hurting your fingers. In order to get them tight you have to pull them individually like regular laces, but because it is a thin plastic wire it is uncomfortable. If you try to just tighten them with the knob without pulling them tight first, the top gets really tight but the bottom doesn't.I think at $189.99 when I ordered them the value wasn't quite there for me. I wouldn't pay that much to buy them again.

Decent boots with a couple design tweaks needed
Great hiking shoes. They looked as good in real life as the pictures show. Good clean color matched all leather materials. Sucking it done well. I personally don’t like the wire shoe laces they are hard to get right at the bottom but they do work. They are waterproof to the tongue but not all the way up (a design miss in my opinion)They are narrow but not tight. Fit is good (I wear a size 12). I wore them all day with no issues or hot spots. They are supportive.They are inline pricing wise for high end boots but only time will tell how they hold up. I see they more as fashion then function but they should work for hiking just fine.If you like the design I do recommend them.
