Got put to the test and passed with flying colors
I picked up these work boots for my husband to use outside when he works on the yard or his personal projects. What I liked about them was the wideness of the toe area, but they were not too wide. The steel toe part and they're partly tennis shoes. The waterproofness of the shoes is a plus since he'll be using them in the yard to do yard work and other items of his projects he does as well outside.Once the shoes arrived, we looked them over to ensure there were no flaws, loose stitching, or any kind of damage from the inside, outside, and bottom of the shoes. We found none, which was good. Also, they fitted him perfectly. So go by the shoe size chart that's on the page because it will not lead you wrong. The first time he wore them, it was after we received rain the night before.So, there were rain puddles throughout the yard and none of the water sunk through the shoes. So, the waterproofness of the shoe is correct. It is waterproof. They are very comfortable for him. He was able to wear them for a good six, seven hours and they did not hurt his feet at all. He did yard work outside as well as did some woodworking and did not bother him whatsoever. He did, while he was working on his project dealing with wood, drop a 4x4 on the toe of one of his feet and it did not hurt at all.When he took them off, there was no soreness on his feet whatsoever as well. That is something that he has not found in work boots for a while. Either they're way too heavy or they just hurt his feet after wearing them for a couple of hours. Not with these work boots. There were no broken glass or nails anywhere in the yard where he worked.So, we could not test if any of that punctures the sole of the shoes. However, everything else as described has come to be true. If you are looking for a pair of work boots that are light, not heavy to wear, protect from water and have steel toes, do not look any further, these boots are for you.
