Cute shoes , good support
I really wanted to like these shoes because they look sharp right out of the box — solid construction, non-slip rubber sole, and a design clearly made for stability and heavy lifting. Unfortunately, the sizing was way off for me. I normally wear a 7.5 in Brooks tennis shoes, but these felt closer to a 9.5. I could tell immediately upon opening the box that they were far too big.The shoes themselves seem sturdy, though quite heavy — even holding them, they feel dense and durable. They have a reinforced heel and ankle area for support, a wide toe box, and a raised 1.4-inch heel that’s supposed to help with squat form and joint pressure. However, because of the incorrect sizing, I couldn’t properly test their performance during a workout. If the fit were accurate, these might be great for someone doing serious lifting, but I can’t recommend or fully review them based on my experience since they simply don’t fit. I’d suggest double-checking the size chart carefully — or ordering at least a full size (maybe two) down.
I ordered the CASTIRON LIFT Weightlifting Shoes in a size 7, but I received a size 41 (which seems to be closer to a U.S. 9). They already looked and felt way too big, and the overall design is quite bulky—it really makes your feet look huge. The shoes also feel heavy and awkward when trying them on, especially because of the unusual sole construction. The quality seems okay, but the sizing and design definitely need to be rethought.
