Meh.
Most dangerous shoe I've ever walked in on snow or ice. Even rain. Especially paved surfaces. Just don't even wear them on pavement. They'll wreck your knees. Warm, though. Comfort is clearly bring your own. Put some insoles in there or something. They're very hard on your knees. They fit fine. Buy your regular rubber boot size. They are waterproof, so that's also a plus. Value for the money? I'd stay away. The quality just isn't there. Go for an entry level name brand if you need a good boot. I wear mine two+ times a day to walk my dog. Durable, enough, I guess. Just.. a really plain boot with no real thought to ergonomics, I'm afraid.

Excellent boots!
Though I live in South Florida, I spend a portion of the winter up in the northeast in Canada, because it's where I'm originally from, and still have all my family there. Actually, ironically I'm writing this review just before a hurricane is meant to hit the peninsula, and when I went out yesterday it was raining so much that the streets were flooded in many areas, so I guess these boots are handy down here as well. Over the last decade or so, it seems that the weather in the northeast has gotten less snowy, and a lot wetter. You have days where it can snow, and then shift temperature rather quickly into sleet, rain, and other messy precipitation. That of course gathers a lot of water, especially large puddles due to rapid freezing and thawing, which makes for a general overall mess. I was looking for a nice pair of winter rain boots to bring with me up north this year, and I'm so happy that I decided to order these. These boots by Western Chief are extremely well made, easily the most comfortable rain boots I've ever tried, and decently insulated for a rubber boot. If you wear these boots with a nice thick wool sock, you'll be in heaven in nasty wet conditions. There's nothing worse than when your feet get wet in cold conditions, and with these boots that's virtually impossible. The fabrication quality is excellent, using quality materials. I appreciate the comfort and flexibility of the neoprene upper portion of the boot, and slipping them on and off is super easy. I don't even need to bend down to grab them, I can simply slip my foot in from the opening. They have a great aggressive tread which is important for traction, and are absolutely impermeable to water. You can trudge around in water, mud, slush, or any other such mess, and not worry at all about having your feet get wet. I can't wait to wear these up north this year, and I highly recommend them.

High-quality muck boots
It took me a while to review these boots because once I'd ordered them, we ended up in a bit of a dry spell. However, with recent rains, these boots have proven to be extremely comfortable and a great solution for keeping my feet dry and warm in the muck and mud.As a note, sizing seems to run about a half-size large for me. I normally wear a men's 10.5 and opted for the size 10. They're a good fit, and perhaps even just a tiny bit large - but with bulky socks, a perfect fit.I really like the flexibility offered by the neoprene leg portion of these boots. I have fairly large calf muscles and the typical rubber muck boots I've used frequently don't fit well. These fit great, and the comfort provided by the neoprene makes long-term wear very comfortable.One other issue with other boots that is solved by this pair is keeping my feet warm. Typically, muck boots make my feet cold, with little insulation. These do a great job keeping my feet warm without a lot of extra bulk.Overall, I've extremely pleased with these boots, their comfort, and performance.
