Great boot, worth the price I think!
I got these because I needed a dedicated "slush boot" for the messy transition seasons (late fall and early spring) and light winter days. I wasn't willing to drop $140 on L.L. Bean boots just to walk the dog or run to the grocery store in wet snow. I wanted something waterproof, insulated enough for 20°F weather, and easy to slip on without a 10-minute lacing session. The Specifics:The Build: This is a classic hybrid construction: a waterproof rubber shell bottom paired with a Ripstop Nylon and "Action Leather" upper.Tech: It uses Western Chief’s "DryBuilt" membrane (waterproof) and "WarmBuilt" insulation (rated for sub-freezing temps). The Sole: Unlike the flat, slippery soles on cheap rain boots, these have a proper EVA midsole (for shock absorption) and a lugged rubber outsole that actually grips icy sidewalks.Quality, Price, Utility, Durability & UsefulnessQuality: For a budget boot, the construction is solid. The stitching where the nylon meets the rubber shell is reinforced. The "Action Leather" (coated leather) isn't premium full-grain, but it’s tough and easy to wipe clean. The interior lining is soft and moisture-wicking, avoiding that clammy plastic bag feeling you get in cheaper boots.Price: At roughly $65 - $90, this is the sweet spot. You are paying about half the price of the big-name heritage brands.Utility: These shine in "messy" weather—melting snow, mud, and freezing rain. The ankle height offers enough coverage to keep snow out of your socks without the bulk of a full-height pac boot.Durability: The ripstop nylon upper is resistant to tears and snags. I’ve used them for shoveling the driveway and kicking slush off the car tires, and the rubber shell hasn't cracked.Styling: They aren't going to win any style contests for how they look, but they work great.

Waterproof Cold Weather Boots
The Western Chief Ridge Ankle Cold Weather Boots are a great choice for all kinds of outdoor wear. It has a tight, snug fit while still allowing your feet to navigate comfortably in the shoe. The high platforms allow the user to have a heightened stature, helping to avoid water getting into the shoe. The bottom grips of the boot help grip the ground with much strength, making it reliable on snow, ice, and other steep/slippery terrains. The lace system is intuitive and easy to use, showcasing its portability even though it is a heavy duty footwear. It has an overall nice design and the color theme of it allows you to have your own unique boot.

Light-weight, waterproof, and warm
I'm finally giving up my LL Bean winter boots, and these are a comparable replacement. Although I usually wear 10.5, and these don't seem to come in half sizes, the 11s allow me to wear thicker socks in colder weather. Thus far, they feel lightweight, waterproof, and in my morning commute, warm.

Great boots, and worth getting!
My husband really likes these. He feels that they are made really well. The boots are made out of great materials. He says that they are lighter in weight than what his other boots are. He really likes that, because after he wears them all day it really makes a difference in how his feet feels. They are waterproof. He got his feet in a big puddle of water and he was surprised that his feet didn’t get wet. He said that his feet always get wet when he walks through that same puddle in his other boots, then he has to walk around with wet boots on the rest of the day. The only thing that he has to get use to is he’s used to wearing 8in high boots, and these are only 6in high. These boots hit on his ankles, and he’s not used to that. That’s not a product problem, that’s just something that he has to get used to. He wears a size 12 in other shoes, and these fit exactly the same way as his other shoes do. So these boots are true to size. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who’s still sitting on the fence, and just wondering if these boots are worth it out not. Trust me they are definitely great boots, and worth getting.

Chafes with low socks, very light and easy to walk in
* Pre laced, The design and upper materials remind me of "Moon Boots" the bottoms are a bit rounded, so, pretty easy to walk in.+ very light- chafes at the ankles and Achilles tendon, recommend socks above the top of the shoes+ lots of room for thick socks+ Prominent, deep treads should be good for snowSurprised by how light they are. Seem good for temperatures under 50f. Pretty easy to walk in, but some chafing after a bit of walking, will need longer socks for these.
