My normal size is 11 E in taller work boots of similar looks and sole, These fit a tad bigger than work boots which make them comfortable because no break-in was necessary. I have only wore them for 2 full days and they still fit fine. If they do become too loose, a simple comfort insole should fix them to the right fit again.
These boots are for my husband, who foot is shrinking I think! They are just a little big for him and an insole should fix that though. He wears them to job sites when he isn't actually doing the labor himself but needs as sturdy shoe nonetheless.
These are some of the best shoes I have found they do not break down in the sole like all the shoes with the waffle iron sole with thin cardboard over it. You heavy guys know what I am talking about these do not hurt my feet like those others do.
Heed the reviews this is not a normal pair of shoes. The top opening is about half the size of the opening normal shoes have so it will be hard getting your feet in the shoes. While i was able to get my feet in it was very uncomfortable because the top of the shoes would push against your feet when you walk. I posted a picture of these shoes next to my current shoes to show the difference in opening. My old shoes which are slightly shorter than these has an opening that at least an inch longer.Also the shoes come with non-removable memory foam insoles which were rather thick and did not feel right. I could probably live with the insoles if the shoe was cut right.
These Romeo's aren't made by the granddaddy boot maker, Red Wing, so they don't fit like them. They are difficult to get on and take off, the elastic and opening are both too tight and stiff. The elastic also hit the bottom of the ankle bone, which was very uncomfortable. I returned them and spent more $ and got the real deal.
Great shoe to put on after a hard day of work. Sole thick enough to walk on gravel without feeling it. I used to wear house shoes but these do both and are super comfortable.
Usurly I'm wearing size 13, but I don't understand why the boot is too large and too long for me. For the reason I bought it, it did the job. I'm very please with it.
