Perfect gardening shoes

My search for the perfect gardening shoe is over. Unlike many "gardening" shoes, the neoprene and rubber are soft and allow you to squat down without the shoe cutting into the top of your foot or giving you blisters at the heel. These are replacing similar shoes I've had for 20 years, which I finally wore out the bottom. Easy to slip on and off - the opening isn't too tight, but tight enough to keep dirt out. Very comfortable insole. Can wear with or without socks. The width is just right - my toes don't feel pinched or too loose.

Heavy and snug fitting on my size 10.5 wide feet (ordered size 11). Have only worn once to test out. Retiring my 7yr old pair which is much lighter weight.

Well made, but wide heals

For the most part, these are comfortable. I don't have narrow feet, however, the heals on these are very wide, they rub (thankfully though, they do not rub hard enough to cause a blister). I usually wear a size 9, but can go up to a 9.5. I ordered a 9 in these. If I ordered smaller, I don't think they would fit. My toes are pretty close to the end, the heals are just really big. They have kept my feet dry. I wish they were a bit thicker on the bottom/soles though. Not a bad garden shoe to have, they seem to be made well. I may try an insert to see if I can get a better fit.

Fit and waterproof
