Very comfortable shoes for an elderly person but a couple issues I didn't like.

I really like these shoes but there were issues I had. For the pros, they have the roomy toe box, they have removable arch supports, they are very cute, they have reflector tabs for night walking or running, I can get them on and off without untying the shoes. They have soles more like tennis shoes so walking on stones would not be a problem and they look like tennis shoes. The cons are the right shoe pressed the top of my toenail up into the toe box which I did not like. I removed the liner/arch supports which solved that problem but now I don't have arch supports. And another negative is the fabric under the removable arch support liners is a slick fabric almost like satin material which I think could cause my feet to sweat. I am elderly and have no intentions of running or exercising in these. I just ordered them because of bunions and they are perfect for that.

Comfortable barefoot shoes for wide feet

These are the first barefoot type shoe I've worn. When I first ordered them the first pair arrived and the stitching was crooked so the shoe was misshaped. I sent them back and got another pair and they fit great. I love the flat feeling when I walk. It's a completely different feeling from even a 1-in heel like Crocs or standard hiking shoes or boots. They're very flexible and don't overheat. When I've gotten them fully wet from walking in wet grass they dry very quickly. Your feet do get a bit dirty because you're down on the ground in the dust and dirt however. I have wide feet and a bunion and they're very comfortable to walk in. I wear them for everyday wear, to the store, walking through the neighborhood, hiking in the woods. They have thicker protection points at the ball of the foot and heel. That is helpful but you can feel larger sharp rocks through the shoe. They're so comfortable I'm considering getting a pair as a second set of house shoes. I'd highly recommend these especially if you have wide feet.

Not minimalist nor barefoot

These are so-so not OK. They aren't minimalist nor are they barefoot shoes. The arch support insole that comes in the shoe defeats the barefoot purpose. So yes, ok; just remove the arch support insole and put a different one in. But which one? The toe box is very wide (as it should be) and any regular insole is too narrow. I bought the largest pair of wool insoles and trimmed them down and put them in the shoes and the insole is still too narrow inside the shoe. The shoes are still too wide (and too thick now, too). Why can't the manufacturers offer an option that you can choose either a 'support' insole or 'barefoot' insole?I didn't want to buy a project; I just wanted a pair of zero drop barefoot shoes I could slip on and off easily. Best to just pass on these.

Comfortable enough just not what I needed.

Shoes are comfortable enough. Fit fine. Well made and look good. Would probably be okay for working out. I got them for work at a superstore, where I am a stocker and am on my feet for eight hour days. Standing and lots of walking, climbing ladders, etc. I've been wearing different brands of barefoot minimalist shoes for several years and have found that style really suits me. My problem is when I find some I really love they are discontinued and the replacement never is as good. If i find one that works I generally by a second pair for backup. So I'm constantly searching. I wore these to work one day and by my lunch break I was wishing I'd brought another pair to switch into. I'll keep them for casual wear since they are comfortable for light use but I will continue my search for another good pair of shoes for work.

Pleasantly surprised

I just received - "Weweya Barefoot Shoes for Women Minimalist Running Cross Training Shoe" I have a few barefoot shoes. All of them you can "feel" the ground. But these, while still being "barefoot" have a thicker sole which when walking you don't feel the ground as much but still feels like a barefoot shoe. They have a medium arch support & inside the shoes it almost looks like a satin lining. They are strong & well made. I am a size 10 & I got a size 10. However, if I planned on wearing a thick sock I would have sized up to the 10 1/2 (Sixze 10 - Big toe hits the top of the shoe) They have a good grip on the ground They are wide in the front but not as wide as I see some barefoot shoes. I would recomend these shoes
