I work in a deli and frequently roast chickens. I spill small amounts of grease on my shoes and on the floor when emptying the drip pad, it can't be helped. The shoes are comfortable, fit well, and protect my feet. They are easy to clean and I never slip. The zero drop sole really is great for all day use.
I've been a barefoot shoe user since the start of 2023 and I refuse to ever go back to the horrible lifestyle of "normal" shoes. I got a new job needing slip resitance, polishable, and black... my alternate options would have costed 2x or 3x more (Xero Prio All Day, Lems Kourt Grip, or Leguanos Care). While these were more true barefoot options due to lack of cushion... my new job involved standing/walking on concrete or hard flooring all day which is counter to most of nature (walking on soil, grass, sand). Its something people often overlook when going full barefoot style and even tho I can handle walking in some 3mm soles all day, its not fully optimal for solid man-made surfaces. So this was actually the best choice. Way cheaper, delivered faster, and probably the stickiest soles I've felt in a long time. Whitin has also come a long way in proper barefoot toe shapes and widths. The heel section hugs your foot perfectly with a notably soft "gel" feel adding to walking comfort. Also, if these are anything like my everyday unkillable canvas Whitins... theyre going to hold up for insane milage.
We like this shoe brand, but these are not as comfortable for my husband as what has been previously purchased. He has planter fasciitis and is unable to wear these for long.
These are great for restaurant work. So far have held up well to many shifts with no slips. It’s nice to not have to worry about slipping on random wet spots that you’re unaware of. They work for women as well. They are pretty gender neutral although I do wish they made more colors or types for women as well. It’s hard to find any “pretty” restaurant shoes that will keep you safe and on your feet.
Good wide toe shoes that can handle being dirty. Had pee from a patient fall on my and the shoes were able to just be wiped off. Good slip resistant to them and they are comfortable.
They are comfortable, durable, and lightweight. The wide toe-box gives my toes plenty of space. And they're really easy to clean. This is probably my fourth or fifth pair of Whitin shoes. I'm a fan of the brand.
The anti slip is nice and they can be wiped and kept clean easily. The look is hideous and there is no cushion whatsoever in the soles. I put insoles from my old shoes in them and they feel okay with them. On their own though they are terrible.
