These are awesome, nice wide toe box
Cheap and comfortable!! Spray them down with some silicone water proofing spray and give some coats more then one. Remember they are WIDE!
First off, I really like these shoes. The fit is perfect for my size 10 EE wide flat feet, and they’re genuinely comfortable. The fit alone is enough for me to recommend them. They’re not high-end shoes, and the craftsmanship feels a bit on the cheaper side, but what they lack in polish they make up for in comfort. They’re very much minimalist, barefoot-style shoes, which I personally love. The insole has just a touch of cushioning, but if you want more, that’s an easy swap. If not, going barefoot in them feels great. Now for the downside: the laces. Easily the worst part of the entire shoe. They’re these weird, short, elastic strings that don’t give you enough length for a proper tie, so you’ll definitely want to replace them. Instead of regular aglets (vocab win!), they’ve got little metal clamps at the ends. They look cool, but there are two big problems. One, you can’t unlace the shoes at all, which might be intentional but is still frustrating. Two, and most importantly, the edges on those clamps are sharp. I actually cut my finger on one. It wasn’t deep since I’ve got calloused hands, but it was still enough to make me wince. Someone else could get a much worse cut.So yeah, love the fit, love the feel, but those laces are a real issue. Swap them out, and you’ve got a solid pair of barefoot shoes.3.5 / 5 stars, would be a 4 if not for the laces.
Loved the color and quality, but they do run small unfortunately and I did have to return. But they seemed to be nice and wide and very flexible!
These shoes are very comfortable and look great. The wide toe box is just as comfortable as my other cheap Whitins. The soles / insoles feel thin so you really make contact with everything on the ground in a true minimalist fashion. That might be a pro or a con depending on the wearer, but I do like the grounding feel.People that are comparing these to Xero, Vivobarefoot,Altra, Lems, etc…are being unrealistic. These are $35 shoes. To expect them to have the same quality of $150 shoes is kind of ridiculous. Will these hold up as well as those? Doubtful - but they’re 1/4 to 1/5th of the price. That said, I’ve been wearing mine daily for a month with no visible wear yet. Will update. They feel good, look good, slip on easily and the laces tighten fine. but I don’t expect them to last forever.
Very cool shoes
