Great for active and growing kids! Esp perfect for kids with sensory issues
My son is almost 12 and has autism and sensory issues that cause him to really struggle with a lot of clothes. However he’s also at the age where he’s starting to care about how he looks and really wants to fit in with the other kids at school so he’s trying to find ways to wear things he hasn’t yet been able to. One of those things is sneakers… although in this case he has had sneakers he will wear but the only type he was comfortable in, aren’t very stylish, and he’s been wanting to find a pair of more regular sneakers that look like these but that don’t feel too tight or constricting for him. He has average feet that aren’t wider or longer than normal for his size, yet he always struggled with sneakers no matter what we tried… super skinny sucks, sizing up, wide sizes… none of these things helped. So when I had the chance to order these I picked a color I knew my son would like and thought it was worth a shot but wasn’t expecting much as nothing like this has ever worked. He is currently a boys’ size 5 so nearing the end of kids’ sizes and I ordered these in size 5. We got them, my son was excited to try them on as he loves the look, and lo and behold, he loves them! They are the first “regular” sneakers we’ve found this kid that he feels comfortable wearing since he was 6 years old. It’s amazing. He loves that there’s so much room for his toes and yet the shoe isn’t loose, the shoe size is just right and doesn’t push his toes together. So needless to say WE LOVE THESE. If you have a kiddo who struggles with sneakers due to sensory issues, or even a neurotypical kid who always feels like sneakers are just too tight or too loose and nothing has seemed to work, try these!!! Like I said my son doesn’t have wide feet or anything but these are the magic fit for him so I’ve already bought another pair of size 5 in a different color and will be buying 2 pairs of size 6 next to save for a week or month from now when he’s feet have grown again. So glad we found these!

Love the shoe, hate the branding
These shoes are super easy to get on and off and they work really well for wide feet, which is a big win for us. My son finds them comfortable and really enjoys wearing them, especially for everyday activities and running around.My only real complaint is the branding. I don’t love that the off brand name is printed right on the front of the shoe. If that wasn’t there, these would easily be a five star purchase for me.That said, if visible branding doesn’t bother you, you’ll probably be very happy with these. They’re practical, comfortable, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do.

Well thought out, though debris in the shoes
Very functional shoes, with wide toe box, kind of like what we used to get for toddler shoes. It gives extra wiggle room and less stress on the toes when my kid wears it all day. I really like the bottom grippiness, it's got more traction, especially over some of the slip on shoes he wears. We will see how long they last, since my kid can wear down any traction pretty quick with his kicking stuff all day. The closure is really good - my kid is still not that good with laces or rather doesn't like to bother with them, and these combine the ease of slip on with a little bit of ability to adjust to fit with the velcro closure. I did find stuff that shouldn't be there inside the shoes though - one had shoe lace end clipping, I'm guessing they take regular shoe laces and cut off the ends to attach to the shoes, and one of them fell in. The other side had twig looking debris, like someone tried it on or dead leave got inside. So, I'm wanting to give it a 4.5 stars.
