Great boots so far!
I just received these yesterday (7/15/22) and so far they’re great.First Impressions:They’re visually great looking boots in my opinion. They’re a tiny bit darker in person than in the photos but that’s better for me. Pretty smooth leather all around with some nice breaking towards the top. They have a strong sorta minimal look as you can see in the photos. I’m, personally, not a big fan of other boots with so much on the outside like rubber toe padding. These are clean and great.Fit and Comfort:So far they’re incredibly snug (in a good way). They don’t suffocate my feet and they’re a pleasure to walk in. The fit is excellent. I’ve worn other shoes size 11 and while most fit well some run too large or too small but these are true to size. The Boa adjustment is also great as it evenly tightens the entire boot. Like every other high top boot it takes a some force to remove them.Features:This boot comes with some neat safety features that are useful for many trades. Since they have no steel/aluminum toe they are great against electrical hazards. The composite toe is light and protects just as fine for most situations. While there is no mention of puncture resistance I’ve asked in the Q&A before my purchase and some customers mentioned they are. Once they arrived I checked them myself and they do have a hard layer under the insole apart from the rubber sole under the shoe so while I wouldn’t recommend falling foot first into nails to test them out 😄they seem to offer at least some protection. Now the outside material looks like it might get tough to clean, specially if you work near a lot of dirt or cement. They’re work boots so I don’t think you’ll be able to keep them pristine if you work in tough conditions but regular oiling will at least make them last longer, it seems.——Overall these are great looking and feeling boots. I will update after a few months use to give feedback on how long that comfort lasts and how they handle working conditions over time.

Love the BOA system
I’ve been pretty much daily driving these for the past 3 months. They are holding up great and I feel tactical af clicking these suckers in every morning.• Grip is good on a variety of surfaces(I’m in greasy, slippery environments)• BOA system is super handy, it tightens up evenly and allows for quick removal and putting on which was my main selling point.• Factory insoles are decent, but I always upgrade.• Only gripe is they caused some irritation during the first couple weeks where my ankle flexes, but I’ve since worn them in or built a callus.

BOA is far better than laces!
Great boots so far had them for a few months now never buying another pair of work boots with laces again this is so much faster and better. I got a 12 wide i’m glad I got the wide because they still feel kind of narrow to me 🤷♂️ so far they’re holding up great haven’t really abused them too bad because I have another pair of work boots that I use as well. Also, I will note that I have wore them out in colder climates, snow shoveling, etc. and they work pretty well for that as far as staying warm however they’re a little bit slippery on ice than dedicated winter boots

4 HARD Years of work, still going!
This pair of shoes lasted me 4 years in industrial maintenance and outside homesteading acres of land. They werent taken care of and stayed covered in sugar, corn starch, or mud between weekly steamwater hosedowns. Ive worn the tread away to the black rubber underneath. Theyre like a 1/4 - 3/8" shorter. *After modification* theyre extremely comfortable. My feet never get wet in washdown environments. They didnt start to fail until close to 4 years. They fit true to the size youd buy, except they are narrow fit. Love the boa laces, i will never in my life wear a boot without them again. Very protective and breathable at the ankle, huge plus! I am buying multiple pairs of these. Why replace? My boa lace started to tear and ive started slipping in the last few months. This pair of shoes has two problems:1: The material webbing that connects the tongue to the wall of the inside of the shoe for water resistance bundles up when tightened and digs into your ankle, bad. I literally had to modify the shoe by stitching pieces of leather in, but once i did the pain was immediately gone and they went from the worst ive ever had to the best, like a snap.2: The toe needs protection. I added KGs boot guard, pretty cheap, after a couple months. These will quickly start to rip a hole in the toe leather otherwise.Buy or no buy? Dont buy. If you dont want to have to modify a brand new 180 dollar pair of shoes, move on.

These Boots Made Me a Time Traveler
I bought these Wolverine BOA composite toe boots for work. I expected safety, durability, and maybe fewer smashed toes. What I didn’t expect was to feel like a futuristic cyborg construction worker from the year 3099.The BOA lacing system? Absolute game-changer. I twist that little dial and bam — snug fit, zero effort. I haven’t tied a shoelace in weeks and honestly? I feel emotionally free. I may never go back. I’m one click away from challenging Batman to a boot-off.Comfort? Like walking on firm mashed potatoes. The composite toe is solid, but doesn’t make me feel like I’m wearing two microwaves on my feet. Waterproofing is so good, I confidently stomped through a puddle like I was auditioning for a dramatic music video. My only complaint? People keep asking to try them on. Sorry, Steve from HR — get your own.Highly recommend. They protect your feet and your dignity. And if the zombie apocalypse happens? I’m outrunning everyone—with dry socks.
