Perfect Fit

Tough and well made.

These run a tad narrow for a 4E, so be prepared to invest some time to break them in. I use a stretcher on mine, but I'm gentle with it. Once broken in properly, they will last for years. I have a second pair for winter (one size larger) so I can use heavier socks. They've been going strong for six years.

2 different sized shoes

2 different size boots. When I received I opened the box, boots looked good, looked at size (one shoe) looked good, then set aside for when I needed them. Today I was going to start wearing them to break them in and I found the second shoe a different size. This is the 6th time I purchased this boot from Amazon, 5 on re-order. I always buy ahead of need so as last pair wears out I can break in new pair. Order was received on 9 May, I checked them as above immediately, I tried them (one of them) yesterday, 30 June & found the problem. I tried to contact somebody at Amazon but got nothing but an A.I. phone message saying tough luck, you should have paid more attention, you are past your 30 day return window. I love these boots for the work I do and the size fit & comfort. I’ve reordered 5 times. Hate the system that says, “no excuses, no means of review, you screwed up…….do you want to buy this item again?”

Great for wide feet, not great quality.

Finally a boot that fits my wide feet. Very comfortable. I have tried many many boots in my size and usually they are still too narrow at 8.5 4E, but these were a great fit right out of the box.I am, however, disappointed in the build quality. In under 3 months the leather has worn quite thin, and one of the lace hooks snapped.I would only consider buying them again because I struggle to find shoes that fit. Otherwise I would pass.
