Had My Doubts, But Man, I like these boots.
I read some bad reviews but decided to take a gamble and I'm glad I did. I will confirm that they are narrow at the neck where your foot goes in. I think they did that because they are waterproof and they wanted to get that waterline as high as possible. I wish they wouldn't have because it would have been much easier to get them on. I bought a shoe horn and you should too if you are considering this boot. The good news is that with the shoe horn my feet slip right in. Comfortable right out of the box, no, that's not right, they are damn comfortable right out of the box. Worth every penny to me. I also read complaints about soreness from the tongue where it meets the boot at the top. I don't experience this at all, but I don't cinch my boot up real tight either, never have. Nothing but a little slice of heaven for me. I studied hard before I bought boots this time. Really wanted American made but I have tried them all and the comfort just isn't there. What good is great construction if they are not comfortable to wear. I'm happy to throw them away when they wear out. I don't care about having them resoled. These are not made in China and that is the bar for me. They are made in Bangladesh and that is fine by me as long as China did not get my money. The craftsmanship looks very good to me. I can't find a single flaw. Time will tell and I promise, if they don't hold up, I'll be right back on here to let you know. 4/10/23It's been about a year and I thought I would update this review. I have to say that these boots are really comfortable even after a year of daily use and they have held up really well. That being said. the narrow neck is a real pain. I still have to use a shoe horn to get them on. I go from cussing them every morning and thinking about throwing them away to being really pleased with them during the day. The narrow neck is a royal pain. 3/24/24

Bucket shoes
I really liked them for my husband for work because it comes with a bucket for any bumps that might happen or anything that might fall on his feet. The bucket helps him with that so he doesn't hit his feet and they are very comfortable to walk in at work. I recommend them 100%.

Comfortable and long lasting
Comfortable boot right out the box no break in period. Long lasting one year and still going. They are water resistant but dont get them submerged or wet them all day long. Invest in a boot dryer that will dry the inside of the boots. Clean and oil every 3 to 4 months. Oil them when they are dry so that you dont lock the water in the leather.

Surprisingly Uncomfortable
I have had many pairs of Wolverine work boots. Most had the Dura Shock soles. When I saw these advertised with Ultra Spring soles I was excited to get a pair. I work in a large manufacturing plant on concrete floors all day. I was hoping these would be comfortable to walk and stand in the plant. The boots look great! The first hour out on the concrete floor my feet hurt, so I thought that I would tough it out. After 5 hours my feet hurt much worse than they ever had in a pair of boots. I'm not sure if I will ever try wearing them again to work...buyer's remorse has really set in.

Great work boots for flat feet.
I have very flat feet, and I'm a heavy guy. Boots with regular heels would always break down within about 6 months. I've worn these up to 2 years of heavy use. The composite safety toe cuts down on the weight a little. I'm on my 4th pair and I'm not looking for anything different.

I thought they would be more comfortable
After ordering a pair of 6 " mock toe wolverines in the same size and style that I have been wearing for several years I was disappointed. The mock toe style I ordered was so much larger than what I had been wearing they flopped on my feet. I had seen these advertised but with a price tag of nearly double the moc toe I didn't give them much consideration. While shopping for boots to replace the brand new moc toes that were too large i ended up purchasing the hellcats at a great price. They look great and are a decent boot but I ended up buying insoles to make up for the size difference and like the comfort of the moc toe better.
