Great boot, runs big, minor complaints.

This is my second pair, first was 6in I wore almost everyday. They were always a little too big since I bought wide. I went with the 8in which I like more and are just as easy to put on. Good thick leather and hold up to farmer’s market work, light construction, walking on a roof, dump runs and etc. Only complaint being the stupid slits on the toe welt which are decorative and do nothing but introduce a possible failure point. However it wasn’t an issue on my previous pair of these. The laces are okay and long but aren’t amazing quality. They hold up fine though so no big deal. The tongue could be a little nicer and is also comically puffy so it feels like I’m always having to stuff it in as I lace up. Might see if a cobbler can just remove all the padding. And they are sized like how boots are, always too big for whatever reason. I’m a true 9 and got an 8.5 medium. A touch narrow but they will break in just fine. Comfy out of the box.

Great no nonsense leather work boots sans the bells and whistles

These are great no nonsense boots. No fancy lining, no insulation just straight up leather boots, quality leather boots at that. They’re construction seems top notch. Very comfortable out of the box. Minimal break in time. My only issue with these is that they are ‘roomy’. Length wise they are very true to size. I bought the medium width version and I had to throw in an extra set of insoles to take up some of the space. If you’ve got a ‘bulky’ foot I think these will work very well for you. I don’t buy leather shoes normally but for work boots there really isn’t much out there that preforms as well. I bought Wolverines on reputation and there is a reason they’ve built that rep and these boots speak to that for sure. If you’re in the market for boots you’ll see that there seems to be comparable boots by off brands but I just don’t trust them. For what you’re getting I think these boots are priced approximately. You could definitely spend more on Red Wings or Irish Setters or even Carhartt but I feel I got the best deal on these without sacrificing quality. Definitely recommend but keep in mind my stated sizing issues.

Best bang for your buck!!

Okay want to start off by saying I’m 43 year old blue collar dude been working In construction for going on 25 years , I have always worn some form of 8” lace up moc toe wedge sole boots for work because they are typically the most comfortable boots you can wear period work or casual, i currently have in my possession 2 pair of $300+ redwings , a pair of Danner and thorogoods around same price point , and I have tried about every other name brand you can think of cause I’m kinda obsessed with work boots lol anyways this is my second pair of these wolverine 8” loaders and I can say they are just as tough just as good looking and more comfortable out of the box than any other boot I have purchased and they are less than a third of the price , at around $100 you can’t buy a better boot in this price range , my last pair I wore for almost 2 years and they were still going strong until I recently left them on the porch and the neighbors dog tore one up lol dogs love real leather ! Anyways I bought these for work but I’m deciding to keep them as my casual boot for now because they are so comfortable. You won’t be disappointed if you pull the trigger on these , side note my true shoe/boot size is 11 med , but I always buy 1/2 size bigger in boots to add a little room for thicker socks in the winter it helps keep the boot comfortable even in a tight laced scenario. I keep my boots Cinched pretty tight I hate the sloppy look of a loose laced boot it serves no purpose in my opinion but I will Say these boots are comfortable even laced up tight because of the soft cushioned tongue. 👍🏼👍🏼

Good for the price

Good for the price. They are the right size and are very comfortable for long hours wear. I work construction and have lasted me longer than any other brand so they are very durable. They aren’t very bulky like other work shoes, I even wore them as dress shoes a few times before using them to work.

Best work boots on the market!

Leather seems to be decent quality, double & triple stitching in certain areas. They have a padded tongue which I am not fond of.UPDATEI have been wearing them for a week now using and abusing them. They are holding up very well, they are extremely comfortable and I have flat feet so that says a lot. it is normally very hard for me to find a pair of boots that I can wear all day without hurting and I have not had a single complaint with these boots. Great product for the price, will definitely buy againUPDATEI have now been wearing these boots for 4 months with absolutely no problems. The only change that I made what's by putting in some dr. Scholl's memory foam inserts and they have held up extraordinarily well. I am a residential and commercial HVAC service tech so I have to kneel a lot to work on equipment and the primary problem I have with boots is that the toes wear out very quickly. That is definitely not the case with these boots. I will definitely buy another pair but I'm going to see how long these boots will last until they are not wearable first. Glowing five star review. Would definitely recommend.7 months in and still holding up great! These wear better than any mid-high end work boot I have EVER bought (Irish Setter, Red Wing, and Thorogood). The only change I have made is by changing the insoles to me more foam, but keep in mind that they have to be replaced every couple monthsNote* I do have flat feet and normally wear down the soles of boots very quickly. These soles have held up extraordinarily well through the abuse that I have put them through
