The Wolverine mens Trade Wedge 6" Unlined Composite Toe boots are designed to offer you both style and comfort, making them an excellent choice for long hours spent on your feet. With their innovative features such as a lightweight rubber wedge outsole and a moc-toe design, these boots aim to enhance your daily experience whether you're working or enjoying leisure time.

Features

Premium full-grain leather upper for durability and a classic look. Unlined construction that promotes breathability and comfort in warmer conditions. Removable lightweight ETPU footbed provides added cushioning and support tailored to your needs. Lightweight rubber wedge outsole allows for flexibility and better shock absorption. ASTM F2413-18 M/I/C EH rated CarbonMax composite-toe ensures safety without compromising on weight.

Pros

Comfortable fit: The unlined design enhances breathability, keeping your feet cool during long wearing periods. Great cushioning: The removable ETPU footbed adds a layer of comfort that can be adjusted based on your preferences. Stylish appearance: The classic moc-toe style is versatile enough for both work and casual settings. Durable construction: Made from premium materials, these boots are built to withstand daily wear and tear.

Cons

No lining: While the unlined feature offers breathability, it may not provide as much warmth in colder conditions. Weight considerations: The composite toe, while lighter than traditional steel toes, may still feel cumbersome compared to non-safety footwear.

Super comfortable!

One of the other reviews complains about no padding and they hurt his feet, lol. One of the first things you do when you get new boots is change the insoles, everyone knows that. Boots never come with good insoles. These had almost no break in period. Super comfy from day one. They're pretty lightweight as well. The laces feel a little cheap, you'll probably want to replace those right away. After one application of mink oil, my feet stayed dry after walking around in 1.5 inches of water for about 20 minutes. You should order a half size down. These boots run large. I initially ordered a ll.5, as that's what I usually wear, and they were comically oversized. I might have been able to order a full size down, but I wanted room to be able to wear thicker socks in the winter if I have to.There's really only one or two other options if you're looking for an unlined leather composite toe wedge sole boot. I was skeptical because these just came out and only had 2 reviews, but I'm liking them so far. I think I've only put about 300 hours of work in with them, but they're holding up pretty well.

Great boots, get the boots!

After a week of wearing these boots, here’s my take:The first day was a bit rough—no insole meant my big toe rubbed on the side, which led to a blister. Once I added my old insoles, it made a huge difference. No pain since, though I do think I’ll upgrade to better insoles soon.My recommendation: Order quality insoles at the same time you order these boots. The stock footbed is hard with no cushioning, so extra support is worth it.As a woman in the trades, I stand behind these boots. I’m on my feet all day—mixing mortar, pouring concrete, even taking the occasional brick to the toe—and they hold up. Solid protection, great durability.

Do not buy these, wow they are awful.

I really love the look of these boots. I also liked the idea of them being unlined. Unfortunately these are quite terrible. Usually with moc toe boots, you get a blown rubber wedge sole that will be pretty soft and comfortable. The sole on these are really hard. It'll be more durable, but it was very uncomfortable. But what makes it worst is the entire bottom is quite literally cardboard or "fiberboard" as they call it, on your base and on your heel. But the cherry on top? The insole which is also terrible looks like it is quite literally made out of Styrofoam. These things most certainly aren't built to last, nor are they built for comfort. They're built to be cheap and they do succeed at that for $99. But even wolverines I90 durashocks are only $143 right now and those actually arent terrible. You're definitely better off spending the extra money for those, or something else.
