Love these boots...very comfortable
These Wolverine Women's I-90 Romeo Construction Boots w/composite toe are the best work boots I have had in over 30 years. I wear them on a full time basis for work. They are so comfortable and didn't need to be broken in at all. They are the first slip on style boots that I have tried and I was worried about not being able to adjust and tighten the laces but the fit is perfect and there has not been a problem. I used to go through at least two pairs of boots a year but with these, I just bought my third pair in four years and I only bought the third pair because I noticed they are getting harder to find. I tried the new ones on and they fit like the previous two pairs but I put them back in the box until I actually need them. These boots work great for me.
I'm generally between a women's 6 and 6.5 and these fit great in a 6.5. Heel didn't slip and they were easy to get on and off. I work at a winery which means that there's constantly water splashing around everywhere. I was deciding between these and the Piper (lace-up) and ultimately decided to go with the lace-up because this Chelsea style boot was quite roomy at the ankle, which would allow water in. Can't speak to their durability because I returned these.
I dislike these boots they are not stiff but hurt my heels and the ball of my feet. I kept them to long to return them. I am going to use them for days I don't walk alot.
I have been needing a safety toe Chelsea boot for women for soo long. The ankle isn't super loose but not tight either. They are true to size and actually way cute. They are also quite comfortable and I'm very picky about my work boot comfortability. UPDATE. I've had these boots for a while now. Still the most comfortable work boots I've owned. Still in great shape while having to do hard steel work in them and walking miles and miles each day. Light weight, cute and comfortable. Get them
I wear a 7.5W, but I could not even get my feet into these boots. I even checked the size to make sure the wrong one was not delivered. They run almost a full size too small, and very narrow for a work boot. Otherwise the shoe is a very attractive.
I bought a 9 wide as I am really a 9.5 or 10. I had tried on the 10 in a store and they were too big. The extra wide was key for me. They are cute for a big boot. A bit heavy but that's not a bother. I hope I can get through TAS. I made sure I did not get the steel toe. I am pleased with them. I am sure I will have them for years.
