These are gorgeous high heel boots! The color is more of a matte black with just the right amount of shine to make them noticeable. They look very classy. They are a lot more comfortable than I expected. I put them on with a thicker pair of socks so I had to loosen the laces to zip them up. It's been years since I've walked in heels and I had no problem walking in these. They are pretty steep so before I wear them I'm going to put a high heel cushion on the pads just to avoid the pressure of the slant. These have renewed my love for heels once again! The zipper is really nice, it is noticeably of excellent quality. It zips easily and stays locked in place. The overall quality of these boots is just fantastic! All the stitching is very well done. The soles are not slippery at all, they have a grip to them, making it easier to walk around in them even in the house. From a fashion standpoint the functionality of these are so versatile you can wear them dressed up or with something casual. I have a wider foot so I was concerned, but I ordered my normal size 9 anyway, and the fit was exactly as it should be, maybe a little snug, although with the slant I wish I would have ordered up a little, so keep that in mind. Plus wearing a thicker sock would help with the strain if there is any, which I expect I will have until I get used to heels again. The laces are also made really well, along with the grommets. The value for the quality is over the top amazing. These would also make a wonderful gift since they are of such high quality and exquisite taste, making them look and feel expensive.
