Cozy slip-ons with a sturdier sole than most house slippers
These are pretty straightforward slippers, but the first thing that stood out to me is the sole. It’s thick and firm, not that soft, squishy foam that wears down fast. I wouldn’t go tromping through mud in them, but sidewalks, the patio, grabbing something from the car… that feels totally fine. On top of that firm sole there’s still another thick layer of padding that gives the inside that soft, cushy feel. They feel fluffy, easy to slip on, and honestly seem like they’ll last longer than the soft-bottom slippers I usually wear around the house. Those get grungy pretty quickly. I don’t really wash slippers much… maybe that’s gross, I don’t know… so I’m not sure exactly how these will hold up in the wash. I’m sure they’ll survive it, I just don’t know how they’ll look afterward.Price-wise, they’re sitting around $25.99. It’s not terrible, but for slippers it doesn’t feel like a bargain either. When slippers start creeping up in price I usually expect real suede or leather or something sherpa lined, which obviously would cost a lot more than these. Still, for cozy homebodies who live in pajama sets and want something comfortable with a more durable sole, these make sense. So far, no complaints.
