These shoes are so comfy!! They fit as expected! Good quality, worth the price
I purchased two pairs in different colors. Love these shoes but the left shoe in this pair is too tight over the top of my foot and gives me pain. Other than that, I love Alegria shoes.
Although others thought this shoe ran small, it seems a normal 40 9.5 to me. Very comfortable!
I’ve had Algeria by PG Lite, Eryn 640 model in all black that I wore them daily pretty much year round for long work days on my feet in which I was walking miles daily. Eryn 640’s were also my go to shoes for personal use like shopping, running errands, and daily use Winter and Fall, occasional weekly use in Spring and Summer. They looked good with jeans and dress casual pants. My last pair held up very well and looked nice inside and out for more than three years. As the heel sole was wearing down and my heel started slipping like it had stretched and was starting to feel sloppy, like a little girl wearing mom’s shoes that are too big. With regular cleaning and polishing (as you should with shoes), they stayed looking great. But it was time to replace them. That model is no longer available so I ordered this pair (disappointed all black wasn’t available in my size when I ordered), followed Amazon suggestion to size down. I didn’t care for the brown wood-look sole, and this model was a bit small and not as comfortable as my Eryn 640 was when new. The heel fit felt too wide and loose, despite the overall too snug fit. I believe sizing up may have been too big, and definitely too loose in the heel for my somewhat narrow heel. I was disappointed these didn’t work this time because my last pair turned out to be fantastic value for the cost…lasted longer than any other. As had been my experience with Dansko shoes, Alegria seem to have changed enough, they’re no longer a good choice for me. I found a different brand, similar style, that I like better in fit, quiet sole, comfort, and lower price. I hope the other brand of nursing type clogs I purchased hold up well…time will tell. “Bye bye Alegria - thank you, you’ve been fantastic for years of comfort and service, but I’m moving on, at least for now”.
Although the shoes are quite comfortable, the upper part was digging into my legs. I had to take them to a shoe repair shop to have about 1 inch (2 cm) removed. As others have noted, these shoes run small. I recommend going one size up for the perfect fit. I'm a size 8 (38), and for these shoes, the size 9 is the same length in inches as the size 8.
Retured because I needed a wider toe box
Fits great. Needs a little breaking in but fits like a glove.
