Muck winter boots

I really like these boots. I like how I can just slip them on and go. They’re very light weight. Makes it easier to walk in the snow. They keep my feet warm, nice & dry as they should. It’s a great boot for comfort. I have big calves so they are a bit snug, but that’s fine. I recommend these.Update: 9/20/24.These boots have been my saving grace. I still have them and still in very good condition. Still keep my feet warm and dry. These are an amazing boots. I highly recommend them. Good for winter/ slush & rain.Update: 4/28/2025I still have the boots and are still in excellent condition. Still keeps me feet warm & dry.1/4/26Still have these boots and still in really good condition. They still look brand new. We’ve gotten 80inches of snow a couple days after Christmas and these boots came in handy. Highly recommend muck boots for sure.

Super warm and comfy! Highly recommend for extreme cold conditions

These boots are perfect! I live in Alaska so I was looking for a boot to withstand the extreme temps and harsh weather. These have been just that! I was unsure of size since there are no half sizes. I typically wear a 9 and 9.5 depending on shoe style so I went with a 9. They felt a bit snug at first but after wearing them around for a couple hours they foot bed formed to my foot and they fit perfect. A 10 would have ended up being too big. I've also had zero issues slipping or sliding in these boots. My feet do get extremely hot if I leave them on once inside or traveling in the car for longer periods. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for extreme cold weather boots!

Keeps my feet WARM!

I purchased a pair of Mucks at a local store the day after Thanksgiving. Great sale price. Did not read the tag. Brought them home to learn they were only going to keep your feet warm if temps hover around 60.I live in northeastern O-HI-O, have a condition called Raynaud’s Disease which cause my feet and hands to go numb when exposed to cold. After learning my original purchase would not keep my feet warm I began looking for boots on Amazon shortly before Christmas. I found the Arctic Tall Muck Boots, read the reviews and added them to my cart. They were not supposed to arrive until mid January and actually arrived a few days later. Huge plus!We woke Christmas morning to 12” of snow. Perfect test for my new boots- I put my heavy socks on and went outside to clear the walk. They are everything they report to be. My feet were actually warmer than I would like because I put the heavy socks on.I had to get used to the weight of the boot. It was much heavier than the regular mucks but they kept my feet WARM! No tingling or numbness.I would HIGHLY recommend these boots to any one who needs to keep your feet warm.

Great Boots!

I have extremely wide, short feet (the only athletic sneaker I find comfortable is the Altra brand with extremely wide toe boxes) and as a result, I've had a heck of a time finding comfortable boots - especially for winter. Since we have livestock that I need to attend to daily, the idea of a chore boot that could also double as a quality snow boot for our long western winters was appealing. I was a little worried that these didn't come in half sizes, but found that the 8 was perfect for me with regular socks (I wear an 8.5 in Altra sneakers). The width is excellent, and the top of the boot pulls in at the top naturally to keep snow out of the tops of them. That feeling takes a bit to get used to, but I'm sure I'll appreciate it when it's time to shovel snow this year. They're extremely warm - I have no need to wear anything other than a thin sock with these boots, and relatively light for what they are.

I love these boots!

I can not even tell you how much I like these boots. I am in CO and some days we go thru every season. These boots are great in snow, ice, rain. They are comfortable. I feel much more secure when walking on ice. You still have to be careful of course. If you are a dog owner these are a must. Dog park slush no problem. My feet stay warm and dry. I just got rid of PF so I needed a boot for support. These have worked. They are a little heavy if that is something that would bother you. I am going to look for a summer version of this boot. I have wide small feet and the fir is perfect.

Love these

I ordered these to replace my old, very beat up muck boots that I've had for three years. I wanted to get the shorter, mid length ones this time instead of the long ones that go up to the knee like my old ones. I also needed something warmer for the winter. These fit great. I am a size 7 in everything and these fit wonderfully and break in to a perfect fit after a couple good work sessions in them. I wear a medium thickness sock with them, but could fit a heavier sock if needed. They are definitely warmer than my previous muck boots (which were the "regular" muck boot with the thinner bottom). I wouldn't say these are the warmest pair of boots I own, but I can be outside in 20 degree temps and my feet stay warm while working.I like the bottom grip and tread on these. My old mucks had that thin bottom tread that was actually TERRIBLY SLIPPERY in muck or in snow. These have a heavy duty tread that doesn't slip.So far, they are waterproof. Its only been a week, so only time will tell, but they are 100% waterproof when submerged up to where the rubber meets the neoprene.Differences in these mid boots vs. the high boot:What I love the most is that I can just slip my feet in and out of them without using my hands. With the tall boot, I'd need both hands to pull them on, and at least one hand to pull them off.A bit of a drawback is that things more easily get in this mid boot, like wood shavings and hay, whereas nothing got in through the top of the high muck boots.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.
